Cody, I’m a big fan and I love all of your videos. However, I gotta say, I’ve been putting off watching this one. My uncle trained for two years for his Ironman, and he passed away during the biking portion of the race a few months back in September of 2023. He had a freak cardiac event and was one of the healthiest people I knew, only 50 years old. Watching this video has made me so incredibly emotional for a lot of reasons, but really it’s so amazing to see that you were able to complete such an intense triathlon. So because of Cody Trains.. and in honor of my uncle.. I’ve pledged to myself to make a complete lifestyle change and live healthier starting at the beginning of 2024. At 27 years old, I know my best days are still ahead of me. I’m already down 5 lbs and feeling so much better. You’re an inspiration to so many, keep it up 🫶🏼

I remember being six years old and running the final quarter mile with my dad as he finished his Ironman in Phoenix. The picture of him and I crossing the finish line together, little kid having fun and completely exhausted dad smiling bigger than he ever has, hangs on my wall and has for over 15 years. Your ultramarathon video really got me going, as I had run my first marathon a year before that video came out. I was looking for the next thing. Recently trashed my knee and I’m starting to come back. Watching a comedian that I’ve been watching since the Vine days blossom into one of my favorite KZbinrs AND have the crazy tenacity that it takes to exercise on an elite level is incredibly inspirational. Thank you. Never stop. Energy is everything

this is why I love Cody, his cut videos keep me going, but then, every once in a while, he’ll give us something really serious and personal like this that’s really meaningful. Keep doing your thing!!!

I'm not a fitness or sports person and I don't follow Cody Trains. But this did give me chills. Such a beautiful documentary, and congrats on becoming an Iron Man! Mad respect to you, Cody. I think you're going to be a great dad and a wonderful role model for your kid. 💜

It's really refreshing to see this vulnerable side of Cody. I had started a weight loss journey and have fallen off track. It's nice to have something to relate to in the sense that very few, if any, people can do a strict exercise regimen with 100% success and I need to be more forgiving to myself. Congrats Cody!!

Amazing job and an amazing video. The Oppenheimer track combined with A Beautiful Day at the end gave me goosebumps and also made me shed some tears. To do something like this and to really push your mental and physical barriers is incredible, something that I believe everyone should do at some point. Congratulations on everything, I’m happy for you!

Been watching you since I was in high school and now I've just graduated college. I was a runner my whole life and a sprinter at a D1 school with no intentions of going back to distance running but after watching this video you've inspired me to train and run a marathon with my Dad. My dad has run 6 marathons and I watched his first one when I was in third grade. Congrats on this amazing accomplishment, I hope to inspire my children one day like your parents and my parents!
