Funds for player and structure improvement were limited and Guardiola would not have his way. Real Madrid of 2009 - 2012 was more on a back foot.. rebuilding and Jose was called to fix it, which he did.. you can see the rewards afterwards. It’s like blaming Ronaldo for not winning a league title up until 2012.
