Hey Steve, about 15 years ago we grew a couple of those giant varieties that got up to about 160 pounds without even doing anything special to them. I have some interesting books on how to do it but it’s not something I do, in fact, we have decided to not grow pumpkins this year for the first time in 24 years! We may start back up again in the future, but my wife and I want to enjoy our favorite month of the year camping and traveling in October.
