Yeah but he was still the best player on the pitch in the first half although he's not in his best shape. His potential and talent is incredible. If he would have stayed injury-free nobody would talk about Sancho, Haaland or Mbappe everyone would talk about Dembélé. It's such a shame that the medical staff of Barca have treated him so bad with his injuries. He lost more than two years of development in his early twenties but he's still young and his talent is huge enough to catch up the other youngsters in world football.

he's still not back to 100% confidence yet. it feels like he's holding back some but thats totally understandable. physically he's never looked as good. he'll be a MONSTER once he regains his form if he can stay healthy.

He could’ve scored a hattrick. Dembele can be slightly better than ansu fati if he takes the shot with confidence like him. Also his dribbling is really good but the times he loses the ball it’s almost like he doesn’t wanna try to win it back. I really hope dembele improves sooner or later we really need these kind of players rn
