I love how Ross tries to stop the crowd from cheering so they don't spook the cat. And the crowd actually hushed up! It was really sweet. Normally when I see animals on tv, the crowd cheers and laughs really loudly. And those animals always look a little scared.

@joelmiller81103 жыл бұрын
@@PikeBishop1 I am an animal lover, but not a cat person generally. However I had a Manx cross and they are so very different to your 'average cat'. I would recommend them as a pet to anyone cynical about cats. They are so loyal and more dog-like, I found. Full of character and personality. Mine was wary of strangers but always hanging around myself, my grandmother who I lived with at the time and remembered and was pleased to see friends of ours who visited regularly. Even their uncat-like walk sets them apart. Mine (Bruno) was born from a female cat I had rescued and I took good care of, but we weren't exactly 'besties'. When she had a litter I fell in love with him straight away and had to keep him while the others went to good homes with friends of mine. I was so surprised when they were born half Manx, as the closest and only Manx cat in the area lived a few streets away. They obviously were having quite the affair! I would recommend them to people who are inexperienced or unsure of cats as he was never any trouble, apart from the occasional 'call of the wild' as he did make several attempts on the lives of my sisters hamsters! (We moved them to a room where the door was kept shut once it became apparent.) TL-DR: Manx cats are not you average felines! Perfect for those who aren't 'cat-people'!

I’ve been binge watching Ricky to cheer myself up & also trying to escape reality of deep pain, tears & broken heart. Along comes this (unexpected), perfect video from a man who is so talented, hilarious, humble & honest. (Much respect). Last week My “little tiger” kitty (Pia) ,22 years old, suddenly stopped eating, dragging her hind legs, lethargic & only drinking small amounts of water. I tried EVERYTHING possible to comfort, help her & ONLY thing I accomplished in doing was making her a comfy warm “heated bed” with steps & pillows in case she fell. (Since she no longer could jump onto my bed or couch, I slept on floor next to hers). Then the day she started vomiting dark fluid (blood) into her water dish along with her extreme weight loss & her precious ears & face jaundice... I knew “it was time to let her go”. I love her beyond words & she ALWAYS was there to cuddle/comfort anyone who was sick or sad! Now, as hard as it is to say “IT WAS... MY TURN”. I won’t lie, I kicked & screamed while in denial “ITS TIME”...False hope “sometimes really sucks”. And... THIS.... sucked!!!!!!! On 2/3/22 I made the heart wrenching decision to have her euthanized to release her from pain & continual discomfort . On the ride to the vet, shallow breathing & her last time as MY co-pilot. Her dignity & unconditional love still shining through her fading eyes, & holding my hand with both paws & managed to give me a couple purrs. She was able to enjoy the warmth of the sun shining on her as we traveled . (I’m so glad she loved to go for rides...) I surely didn’t want her to be stressed. I truly struggled with euthanasia vs. dying @ home. We NEVER are given guarantees in life or death and I battled knowing “she could possibly have a peaceful or horrible death @ home. Knowing the possibility of suffering from inability to breath, seizures (she’s had in the past), or agonizing pain”. This is WHY I chose the hardest decision of painlessly passing sleeping. The room was filled with her entire 2-legged family members (who rushed to vet) to say their final “GOOD-BYE” & “HOW MUCH SHE IS LOVED”. She gave me a final head to head bump right before she fell asleep. As I type this my heart aches for my little girl & truly truly miss her. I’m sorry with my ramblings Just want to share “OUR STORY”. I have NEVER been a “cat person”, so I read everything possible to prepare myself to be the BEST MOMMY. I learned along the way “you DONT pick cats, THEY PICK YOU!!!”. I lost track @ how many lovely kitties I saw. Ironically, it took almost a year “for pia to find & pick me”. When my vet called telling me “she thinks she has my kitty”. I rushed from work to meet her.. she WASN’T what I exactly wanted... she was a feral short hair calico & I wanted a long hair rag doll. “Tugging @ my heart strings knowing she was only 5-6 weeks old & someone left her in shopping cart”. When I walked up to her... she calmed down & purred & JUST LIKE THAT... “she picked me”.. & I NEVER could imagine the powerful love your furry friend/family could bring filled with so much joy/happiness/comfort ...”IF” anyone reads this... thank you kindly for letting me ramble on & on to tell my friend “Pia’s” story. I miss & love you baby girl & wish I could have performed a miracle to save you.. Thank you for all the love, comfort & happiness. Also, thank you “whoever” you are... if you took the time to read this long-winded story. It means more than anything to share & be heard. Thank you & my heart goes to Ricky & everyone else who’s lost a friend/family member whether they have 2 or 4 feet. Sending hugs to anyone who needs 1 or 100. Blessings & thanks again “if you patiently read my story”.

Thank you for always making me put a smile on my face when I am having a tough time. Wonderful Ricky. I am now heading to 80 and never sworn. After After Life watching 3 times I am so concerned when my home help and cook come in I might just let go. Being in bed wont be able to stop me 😂

Did not know Ollie died absolutely heartbroken for Ricky! I know he would’ve been there until the very end of Ollie’s journey to the rainbow bridge!

What do you mean by that , my friend ?

I think Ollie died quite sudden. She wasn't doing well and they took her to the vet and that was it. Ricky and Jane were and I guess still are very sad about that.

I wonder if Johnathan will get him another now lol

@@_Professor_Oak I was thinking the same thing, it would be really sweet if he did.

What is the likelihood that you really are absolutely heartbroken?
@butchlane46094 жыл бұрын
Don't be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those you have loved.

I remember watching this at the time, and was pleased to see Ollie in some videos which randomly popped up in my KZbin selection a couple of months ago. I'm so sad to hear he's now died. Ricky must be heartbroken. I know I was when I lost both my little darlings.

Sorry to hear :/ To loose a beloved family member it's always devastating, my sincere condolences to Ricky Gervais. Anyway, please, please, please, don't buy or breed animals, the rescue centers are completely full of sweet souls waiting for someone to save them.

To be absolutely honest not is Ricky Gervais one of the greatest comedians of our time, but he is also one of the guys with most contagious laughs out there...

Awww, I have a Birman cat. He’s the most beautiful and kind cat I’ve ever known. He’s so incredibly gentle and friendly. Unfortunately, he has epilepsy. He’s well cared for and much loved. I’m so sorry about Ollie’s passing. RIP Ollie. 🌹

This video just popped up and I'm so touched to see his first meeting with his fur baby Ollie, RIP. He most recently adopted a gorgeous girl they named Pickle ("Picklicious Fatkins the 1st"). Watch the adorable video on The Dodo.
