Well, if you take the emotion out, her crazy cat dress wasn't all that far-fetched from wearing mink fur coats or fox stoles. Its weird but for that day probably not very bizarre. Great story Leo & Heather!

Makes you wonder, did she use the litter box also? I liked this video, "It's a cat's meow." God Bless you and Heather, (Glen). WV.

Thanks, Leo, for the warning as I was dubious by the title and after checking out some comments, I will skip this one. I am a cat person....animal person...who does not like any kind of clothing made out of animal skins.

She was filthy rich. Getting the cats would have been as simple as telling a costume designer what she wanted, I'm sure the cats were all sourced within a week. At that time the New York City metropolitan area was the most populous area in North America. Cats were everywhere for rodent control, and we're seen by most as vermin, just less destructive than rats and mice.

Now now these were from the finest white cats from NYC. Nothing is too expensive. I guess they figured if the cats were feral they were fair game. Would I make a dress using cats? NOPE Sign of true mental illness if you ask me.

This was a awesome story except for having to move the video up and down every time it flipped back to that dangerous cliff. I have a extreme fear of heights and standing on the edge of that would be a nightmare for me.

White cats could have been bred just for the dress. Cats breed quick. I don't know how much advance notice she had but that would be doable.

Could she of had fhese cats raised for this purpose! Ny is a big city but hard to believe this many all white cats were foind at once unless they tanned the hides and did taxidermy on the parts she kept?? I dont know sounds like a extremely cruel woman !!
@Jesse-sk1xn8 ай бұрын
To be honest it's not different then wearing hides of any animals. People wear alligator boots or anything else. It's no different then cow hide. It's all the same.
