Beautiful truth ! Nothing more important than keeping Grace in Focus by clarification of the only message of Life: John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:8-9 .

@@DannyLoyd we do the same thing that Abraham did when he believed the promise…and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. Romans 4:21 that’s all~!

@AlvinFen The problem today is that some can not distinguish the difference between necessary works and meritorious works. They can't get through their heads that apparently the idea that a work can be necessary without being in any way meritorious and they won't accept that repentance is necessary and yet not in any way meritorious. You won't be saved without it, but alone, it will never save you. It's Christ alone who saves you, and the role of repentance is turning away from the world (sins) in which you trusted to Jesus whom you now trust as your Lord and Savior. Repentance is the result of real faith. This is why repentance is the consequence of Faith that gives us God's grace. After grace comes works Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

It's Christ alone who saves you, and the role of repentance is turning away from the world (sins) in which you trusted to Jesus whom you now trust as your Lord and Savior. Repentance is the result of real faith. This is why repentance always precedes Faith in scripture. Grace is only given after repentance through faith then comes works Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Very similar to Ephesians 2:8-10 Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Do you you would call Paul legalistic ?

@@AlvinFen I don't see anything in there that has to do with babies coming to Jesus, and babies cannot come to Jesus until they are old enough to reason, we must first be mentally able to believe the gospel to be saved. How would babies even be wicked in order to turn from any wickedness until they are able to reason?
