Growing up as a black man in the UK we never had these kinds of people in our community (Birmingham). If there was a 'beef' it would be between 2 guys who had a problem with each other, much as any where else on Earth. However, this generation after me, fed on images of US violence and a complete rejection of their Caribbean culture in too many cases have mutated into something that just horrifies me. I never ever thought I would see the day UK blacks hurt/shooting other UK blacks for petty, non-important, childish issues.

Where i grew up in west Yorkshire in the 80s there was a big afro Carribbean community. The main dealer in the area drove a tatty car, dressed like a guy who worked a regular job, no tats, no jewellery, he just blended in as did his fellow gang members. He retired to Barbados where he was born and my old man who was a PC during that time said he was a nice bloke and he kept a lid on any fall out from his line of work and made a ton of money. I grew up in the same conditions as them in London, born in London and always lived in council houses, my parents were divorced and my dad was deported for tax evasion. Mum completely uneducated (not even in our native language) and on benefits for decades, growing up it was hard not to get drawn into gangs, I was too, almost, as a kid. There used to be a kid named Rory at the the council estate I used to live at, had been expelled and would lounge around at the park, he was a few years older but would be around the local kids at the park all the time and pretty much put this idea into our heads that bad=cool. His older brother was involved. I was friends with the neighbours kids, 2 Turkish kids and a few Pakistanis, I was eventually introduced to this kid through my friends and we were all enamoured by it. Learned cuss words from him that I'd use (ofc my mum had no idea what I was saying so was never checked for it) and we'd try to impress him by doing dumb stuff. Some of it was having water balloon fights and throwing it at strangers whilst other was straight criminal (shop lifting sweets from the local corner shop), I personally didn't do this one, but one was basically messing with a chav girl, ofc she had a dog and she made us cry by using it to scare us, lol. Eventually though shit kicked off and I got a checking of a lifetime. We were hanging around with this kid with a few others and see him make a run for it, confused, that's when we see a bunch of older kids in hoodies running at us with bats (or hockey sticks? Can't remember anymore) and run like heck, we eventually all made it into the flats, heavy button door and close it behind us, they tried pulling it open, made some hand gestures and left. Tbh I don't think they would've actually hit us since we weren't really involved, just knew this kid who's brother was involved, just intimidation I think. We were like 9-10 they must've been 15-16 or older. Though police did eventually come but no idea what happened since the Rory kid never appeared after that. Someone said he moved away but no idea. Either way, the Turk kids and mum eventually went back to Turkey (But their dad still lives there and sends money back I think) whilst my other friends parents brought a house and moved there. Me, I'm soon to graduate uni this year. Point is idk what drives these kids to still get involved tbh, maybe its the difference in culture, Asian and my mum always compared us to our much more successful family members thatve gotten their own houses/kids who've graduated etc etc, and it made me determined to also get successful and educated.

Good for you, time is limited, last month, last week, yesterday isn't going to come back. Time is a finite resource and precious make the most of your life, I'm sure you will be successful and with a intelligent, positive and educated (learning beneficial knowledge, and knowledge of the self) mindset you'll go far in life, away from negative people and negative places that will only drag you down. As Prophet Muhammad (saw) said take 5 before 5... Take benefit of five before five: Your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before you are preoccupied (become busy), and your life before your death”. Unfortunately the young youth (not all) are wasting their time in things/activities not going to benefit them. Friends i.e. your company can either motivate you to elevate bring out the best in you as a human being, or drag you down with them in shackles i.e. bring out the worst in you, or make you go down dark paths with them.

They fighting for their ego after disses (verbal or physical) and loyalty to their bros who live in the same place as them (for the same reasons) (guys who mostly never venture out of a 3 mile radius). So it seems like it’s postcode wars but it’s not really. It’s gang wars inside the trap. It’s called “the trap” because making a lot of cash money in that 3 mile radius and having to protect it with death and violence is all that is easily available to them & ironically rappers and gms glorify “the trap” not realising that its not their word - it’s the Babylon word describing their situation. Other things are available, and some breakout without sports or music, but it’s been designed so that those other things are so difficult to see & the least well brought up will fall for it : The Trap. Designed by those who run the country.

UK is still will safer than many other parts of the world. Come drive through a township or other impoverished area in Cape Town SOUTH Africa at night and see how long you survive. These guys in London aren't killing each other or if so then very rarely.

Strange how this thing seems to be widespread, like where ever a certain demographic resides. Vast majority of white areas don't have this. The same can be said for Indian, Jewish, and Asian areas. The Sikh communities don't have this. The British Black communities have embraced Black American hip hop and gang culture aswell as fatherless homes. There's no one's fault for this violence and death other than the people who perpetrate these crimes who are mostly Black and so are the victims.
@zidinuovoio8308 Жыл бұрын
The white areas dont have this? Now this ones new 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 What a joke Liverpool? Manchester? Bradford? Glasgow literally holding the highest knife crime rate in europe for consecutive years? Oh the contant traveller on traveller violence? Amd if you actually knew a thing or two you would know that this gang wars have nothing to do with american culture as they descend from jamaicam mobs in the 70s-80s Once again youre a joke 🤣🤣
@trapset1539 Жыл бұрын
@@zidinuovoio8308 so by your own admission its imported from "Jamaican mobs". Thanks for proving my point. And as for the cities you named excluding Glasgow, all now multi cultural who's crime rates and safety has gone to shit. Yeah it’s pathetic. I live far from London. The local accent here is nothing like a London accent. Slightly West Country actually. But some of the black youths choose to talk in a black London accent. It’s weird. Why choose to imitate someone more pathetic than yourself?

English governance looks for immigration as it’s number 1 revenue generator. Ask the foreign minister. We won’t even talk about foreign labour doing the jobs the lazy English won’t do. It takes a share of control of the lands the immigrants come from and burdens said countries with debts with interest which are always paid but the capital only super slowly disappears. People like William Wallace think that the UK & US are taking in immigrants to be nice lol 😆 … There is always something to do with some sort of power or oil or both in the country they are allying with. If you don’t like immigration or concentrated poverty or “trap areas” looked to your leaders.
