really impressed with these guys dedication to selective breeding without excessive line breeding. People love to say that inbreeding doesn’t affect reptiles like it does with mammals, but there’s no science behind that, and we absolutely do see the effects, both in increased failure to thrive as well as issues like split scutes in snakes and bulging eyes and the like. Nothing wrong with breeding prettier animals, but for the sake of the animals and the longevity of the hobby, you should do it responsibly, as these guys are, not breeding sibling to sibling or sibling to parents generation after generation. Once in awhile to isolate a specific trait is one thing, but most breeders take it too far

I had all these herping tun sheets down the street in thus cow pasture with s creek through it. I go by it yesterday and they have straight turned that whole area into a soon to be parking lot. Hawks and owls would puke up the bones and fur of their meals now it will just be more concrete . They really like squirting concrete all over these animals habitats....all the coyotes foxes end up trying to escape the non stop gentrification of their areas for oeople to park cars

Hey im sorry not sure if there is a problem with my phone or Internet. But my question dav or anyone else who can answer. Does USARK represent every state. Now what i mean is does all the same people representing all of our states. Or is it a bunch of separate organisation just using the same name but still fighting for our reptile rights. Sorry hope that made sense. U know just wondering if its all the same group of people representing all these states. Its just if its all a bunch of different groups then some are better at defending our legal rights than the next person. Hope that made sense thats like here in michigan we have the lions which is the worse team ever sorry but its true then u have the Patriots which have won superbowls. Now they are both NFL but one is more superior than the other. Why i ask is because this isnt just about Florida once they start in one state there keep moving to the next. And eventually they will be banning reptiles in every state in the united states at least the non native reptiles for each state. Its just lately there trying to pass all these little stupid laws everywhere and eventually none of us are gonna be able to enjoy any wildlife with all the building and the deforestation were killing everything. And in reality its humans that need the restrictions or need to be extinct. Well not all of us just yhe haters. Lol

Usark represents everyone. Some usark members started a separate florida chapter to focus on purely florida issues because of how big the industry is in that state and the unique legislative challenges they face there. There has been talk of other state or regional chapters being formed as well, but all under the usark banner and working with the national organization.

Dav i love u not to rock the boat to much but honestly u have been all over filming at just about everyonew facility except the reptarium in Michigan. Now is there something up that we dont know about. Now please dont take this question the wrong way. I mean u utubers are in the public eye and thats what these comments are for right. I mean it says its the number #1 Reptile Zoo in Michigan so thats why i ask now im sorry if i have already asked this ? im really sorry brother i truly am but still would love to see u pop up there for one real reason i moved back to michigan and would love to take u herping with me or me just follow u around like a lost puppy dog. Lol dav ive said this before i really honestly think u have one of the best channels on utube. I mean u go to all these other facilities and put them on the map which is effing so cool and badass which i think everyone in this hobby and who has a channel we all should support one another and give shout outs and try and help all our brothers and sisters out. Because honestly ive noticed some of these utubers that start making it big make a big deal about helping other reptile utubers out or reptile fans.
