The 80s run, 2014 run, 2016 run and the 2021 run. The 2006 run isn't my favorite (it's the super edgy and gory one), but it's kinda important for things that happen in later runs. Those should get you started, you can always look for a reading guide for other books!!

The Shroud was not a minor villain, but a minor vigilante. His stichk is being a sort of Green Hornet type character where he would _pretend_ to be a villain to get to where he wanted to be and destroy the bad guys from the inside. The problem was that he was never that compelling of a character. So the Shroud would be picked up and dropped by a variety of writers, never having a consistent portrayal.

I was so hyped when I was reading this and then seeing them break Khonshu out of his Asgardian prison in Blood Hunt! Like man when Marc came back leading his forces against the vampire army that was so sick! You wanna talk about long term story telling with an amazing pay off that was an absolute brilliant stroke of story telling. The stakes were and have never been higher and then boom it all pays off. Amazing storytelling and such a wonderful way to bring Marc back. I'm fucking excited beyond belief to see Marvel actually caring about Moon Knight and showing him all the love and the respect he deserves and I cant wait to see what happens in his new run that he got going now

Love the direction moon knight is taking. Also pumped to see what happens with Max. Mental health shouldn’t be seen as a one-n-done thing, but neither should it be seen as a one-way-trip to a straight jacket. I’d like to see a nuanced approach with Max, having to deal with his mental health as well as the corruption of his darkforce abilities. Is there a spin-off in the works? Hope some of this story arc/imagery makes its way into the next live action moon knight series.

Jed Mckay is able to expand the moon knight lore in a way that hasn’t. Pre established characters have an ebb and flow people enjoy. Moon Knight has a lot of areas to explore so it’s different what the audience is receptive to and what they aren’t.
