Does suing the debt collector work even if it is not showing on your credit report, I’m just receiving text messages and the balance is less than $500 of medical collections I don’t believe this will be reporting.

Go through the cfpb and file a complaint there is a section that says you are getting harassing phone calls you can look it up. If it’s not on your credit report you are pretty good, I don’t see them suing you over 500$
