There is one of those anglerfish preserved in a jar on the ground floor of the Smithsonian natural history, Museum in Washington DC. I’m a museum junkie and I live right outside the city so I spent a lot of time there and their whole aquatic wing creeps me the fuck out because I have ichthyophobia.

The deepest I’ve been scuba diving is 140 ft. Very short bottom time with a decompression stop on the way back up. Cold and deep in Lake Superior on a shipwreck.

My biggest flex when it comes to the ocean is that I swam with baby black tip reef sharks (about a foot long) in thigh deep water off an island in Fijian waters. I also went scuba diving in that area too. Outside of that, I don’t go in the ocean. It freaks me the fuck out and this video validates that 😂

The opening in the squid that it's mouth, and that not the fishes eye that is lote wich glows and Because it is the only part you can see it's prey think it'all there is there for it's think it's only a small animal there for not a danger, and there is no point in going little beat deeper than 1960 because you can't really get any deeper and they got too deep so they disturbed the soil and there for created a cloud of dust that prevented them from seeing stuff.
