There's some other channels shitting on this case (not too hard, but the comments on those videos are pretty harsh....). I got the base version for $35 from Newegg just over a month ago and then I got the 3-pack of DeepCool RF120 fans for just over $20 on Amazon about a week later. It's an awesome case + fan combo for $55-60. Haters gonna hate, I'm still in love with my case though.

i just got this one yesterday, a Matrexx 55 V3 ADD RGB WH 3F(ans) the buttons are now in the side instead of in the front, so all the i/o cable are not going through the front. Great case to work with and multiple options for motherboard RGB. gonna love to build in this one.

once i get my friends convinced to switch over to pc gaming from console, i'm bound to do like 5 budget builds in this model, it's pretty, has some rgb, TG and it's dirt cheap, for a beginner budget build this is the perfect case imo, do like a ryzen 2600 on a b350, gtx1660 or a rx580, 16gb 2400 ram with a decent psu,

The main problem with this case is the pull away blanks on the back slots which you install your expansion cards into. They just bend and snap and they can be a real pain, not to mention can be sharp. Does look nice overall for the money though.

I have this case had someone build it. the motherboard doesn't have RGB control is it normal for it to be a really load case. I ended up unplugging the fans and just having the light effect.

My old PC case has no cable management and is bad for cooling although I put several fans in. I put a thermometer in just above the motherboard. It was 10 degrees above room temperature. I put five 3-pin fans into the Matrexx 55 and it was one degree above room temperature. However, it was very noisy. I removed two fans. It was now at the same noise level as my old case and got 5 degrees above room temperature. Removing the glass side panel is very easy and can be done with the PC upright. To pull off the front cover use a screw driver at the bottom to prise it open. The only problem was that the power button didn't work. I read a review by someone at newegg.com who mentioned they had the same problem. Don't plug its RGB 4-pin molex into a PSU as it could cause a fire (use the motherboard's RGB connector instead if you have one). The more costly version has three 120mm fans & a PSU shroud.

Nice, but whats the deal with power supply shrouds? It's extra material, the PSU already has fans to deal with their own heat... What cases need these days is somewhere to put all the external 'stuff' we have these days like portable HDs, SSDs, Cameras, phone, SD sockets etc. Do they design cases for this?

Do you know how to properly attach the front panel to the 450 tomahawk? Those wire are strange to a noob like me. My first panel almost caught fire. The molex has one pin or something the fp rgb strip wouldn't work. Ugh!

You're not supposed to hook those up to your motherboard. After research, the headers on your MB are 12V RBG headers which only work with RGB LED strips at the moment. The current markets for case fans are 5V. There aren't really ANY 12V RGB fans. I think looked yesterday there's a cheap brand nobody knows about and an attempt by Thermalake called Riing which are cool looking. (Research the Thermalakes before buying) Unfortunately I thought about the same thing, it's not possible. You gotta use the controller hub given to you or buy a hub separate NZXT makes a great fan hub but I'm not sure who has RBG hub controller for 6 fans, but I really wanna know if I add 3 more , will that hub support it given with the case.

Sharkoon cases is really nice as well still has same problem with the power supply not sure how much you can get it for in Canada I paid £50 for mine but it does have mounts for 2 ssds in the back and I managed to mount 2 extra 3.5in drive were you can have a rad at top and are quite well hidden maybe have a look at that one used it to replace my huge nzxt 840 and looks a lot nicer

There's an rgb version and an addressable rgb version, you must've gotten the rgb version. The addressable one has rainbow

just got one today and I absolutely love it, got the v3 which was $100 (Canadian prices) transferred over my parts from my old case: Cooler master master box Q300L. For a high end PC I don't recommend the q300l as it has little to no airflow and barely fits large gpu's, didn't want my 3070TI to suffocate so I got this and Its much more roomy

Still one of my Favorites even in 2020 something about the lights and variety only issue is your an inch off where the ssds need to be tight squeeze other then that perfect for the price I recommend the pre built 3 fans in the front plug and play that’s what I got came with extras too paid 75 dollars the evga Bronze series takes care of that issue make sure to go with the 80+

I remember paying $100 for the Anidees AI-Crystal, and I thought THAT was a "budget" tempered glass case. Of course that came out before tempered glass became mainstream. The 3.5" tray can be completely removed in the AI-Crystal and theres anti-vibration grommets on the bottom of the case to mount a single 3.5" HDD, which allowed my EVGA Supernova 1000 P2 to fit comfortably in the basement without being crowded or starved for air. Maybe this case has the same feature?
