The actual Bible explicitly and directly teaches that Baptism saves. 1 Peter 3:20-21- "...when they waited for the patience of God in the days of Noe, when the ark was being built: wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water. Sad thing is...most of Christianity are stuck in the wrong books of their bibles. Their pastors keep them in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and the saints aren't being taught the revelation of the mystery given to Paul. Staying in books of your bible that aren't even written to the body of Christ is the issue in the church. There is no other issue than that. All problems stem from this fact. Read the books written to you, Romans-Philemon, and learn what the revelation of the mystery is. And only use a KJB.

Cobrauh. Are you into considering very different viewpoints ? My view is very, very different. The Body and Bride of Christ is The Ecclesia( The Called Out, the Church) and is Israel; Spiritual Israel. Physical Israel and the nation of Israel have no special place in the economy of God, except that, like all other nations, He saves some of the nation's souls, such as the Messianic Jews. All of the Bible is profitable for believers, once it is read in context. From the context, it is clear to me that Paul's writings are not of the same level of inspiration as most of the rest of the Bible . I understand that your view seeks to reconcile the confusing and contradictory prophecies of The Book of Revelations, by creating two different classes. The Body(Christians) and The Bride (Physical Israel). For me, those difficulties do not arise, since I see that much of Revelations is metaphorical and not literal. The writings of Emanuel Swedenborg explain this deeper interpretation of The Word. Peace in The Most High Christ.

thenowchurch Well many people reject Paul outright because most don't know how to reconcile Paul. As it says in 2 Peter 3.15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Many many wrestle Paul's scriptures to their own destruction. What is your stance? Do you reject Paul? Or do you use Paul's epistles? Just curious. Also note: You said that I am attempting to reconcile the book of Revelation. But this is actually not the case. What I am attempting to do is show people what the revelation of the MYSTERY is. Which was only given to Paul. Paul's gospel is different than Peter's gospel. Ill list the verses below for you to take a look. Romans 16.25, Eph 3.3-7, 1 Cor 2.6-8, Col 1.25-26, Eph 3.9-10, Gal 1.11-12, Titus 1.2 I'll list one in case you don't look them up: Col 1.25-26 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; *Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:*

Cobrauh. I believe that Paul does indeed reveal a mystery. The mystery of deception. Paul's writings are part of a divine plan to sift the church. As in any deception there must be a good bit of truth, his writings are not only very eloquent and rhetorical, but contain much profound truth. Therefore I use his writings, with discernment. I will look at those verses and get back to you. Does any of them have Paul plainly declaring that he was given a mystery NO ONE else had been given ?

Alexandrian bibles attack the mystery of Christ given to Paul almost unanimously. In fact, had the mystery given only to Paul been revealed before Paul. Christ would NOT have been crucified. Let that sink in. 1 Cor 2.6-8 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: *But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.* Also note that Paul was given revelations throughout his apostleship. Everything from Romans-Philemon is a mystery. 2 Cor 2.11 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

No, but I will say that God is not bound by man's rules of logic. God's ways are not our ways, nor are His thought our thoughts. But as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts. It's in Isaiah-look it up.

Same kind of language as when Paul said, "my gospel". Be careful to evaluate the object of your statements, and make sure your comments are coming from a heart of Christ's love and are intended to edify or build up the church.

Your "ultimate authority" The Bible, is full of mistranslations and inconsistencies. That is why there are thousands of denominations with various degrees of disagreement. One can only make sure that one is fully sincere, while using common sense and basic rationality.
