The way they continued the show after Owen's death was really screwed up. 20 minutes after it happened, Undertaker had a match and while he's in the corner you can see him just....staring....at the spot Owen fell. The crowd didn't even officially know he was dead and wouldn't until the next Raw, but I bet you Undertaker knew. Nobody wanted the show to continue, but Vince made it go on.

Big Show actually was a pretty good athlete. He played basketball before wrestling. There’s actually a segment from WWE where Big Show and Bradshaw played a game of H-O-R-S-E with some popular WNBA player at the time. You can definitely tell he’s played. I know shooting a basketball and hitting a flip from the top apron are different, but not necessarily because it takes an athletic person to do so. I can believe it. I still would like to see it🤷♂️😂. But I can believe it. Those rings are bigger in person than they appear on a tv screen. I think he could get the lift. I remember old school wrestling I’m 34. WCW Giant did do some super impressive stuff. I never missed a night of wrestling growing up in those days so I remember that contrasts as opposed to when he became WWE Big Show. A bit heavier, a bit older, and smaller wrestlers don’t like the big guys doing high flying moves, it kills their gimmick of being the small guy, so I can see why he scrapped it from his lists of things to try again. 🤷♂️

The following quotes were sent to Fightful by the Two Man Power Trip team. Being the first to beat Bill Goldberg: Goldberg and I would work on a bunch of different things together in the (WCW) Power Plant. So we wrestled in a dark match and the booker was Arn Anderson. He said to me ‘Chad youre going over tonight’. Arn knew that we were pretty good friends at that time. We had a pretty decent match, he and I. I hit him with my finish, pinned him and we got the hell out of there. I didn’t think much of it until Bill said it in his book years later that I was his first loss. The Streak: No one would really know that Goldberg lost except Bill, Arn Anderson, and myself. One day about a year or so later, we were at Nitro, and they were trying to figure out his record for the Streak. So they are counting the guys, and I go up to them and say, ‘Well he didn’t beat me’, and we would have a good laugh about it. Bill is a great guy and he knows where he came from. He always remembered I beat him, even till this day, but its just something we laugh about. He keeps my friendship and while we haven’t spoken in a while, whenever we do speak we pick up right where we left off. He is a good friend.

Regardless of all of AEW’s missteps, their scandals do not touch WWE’s. AEW had a backstage brawl between CM Punk and Jungle Boy while WWE have blood on their hands with Owen Heart and had the nerve to continue the PPV. Thank goodness social media was not a thing when it happened or else his fall would’ve been recorded and posted online.

Wasn't Tanaka's name Tatanka? He looks very similar to Tatanka (playing a native American Indian schtick in wwf in the early 90s). I remember seeing Big Show do that moonsault back in the day in WWE. I think it was him vs Brock Lesnar and the whole ring broke on impact lol OR was that a suplex? I'm getting too old to remember stuff hehe. SUPERB video mate. Your massive efforts compiling all this info is appreciated : ]

There was an episode of Radio WWF back at the end of 1993 where Randy Savage was going to break kayfabe on Hogan, who was scheduled to be a guest on that show, and accuse Hogan of causing his divorce from Liz. Hogan may have caught wind of the plan and backed out. Savage still went on his spiel without Hogan there.

And all this time I thought it was Owen being carried on a stretcher in that WWF Don’t Try This At Home commercial

that radio thing is pretty cool, it'd be cool if it'd come back

27:34 that just sounds like your average Teddy Long smackdown main event, definitely not worth tier 5...

If Brett was as good as he said he would not have gotten kicked by Goldberg in such a way that it ended his career.

There’s a channel called Bryan Turner’s VHS rehab who uploads the early TNA Xplosion episodes.

Lost media is the Benoit try out match against Owen from 1995. It was at a TV taping so they must have the footage somewhere in their warehouse.

Josh Barnett once had a TNA world title match with Lashley where two finishes were taped, presumably because of an impending ownership shakeup and ongoing negotiations or something. The one with Josh winning the belt was obviously never aired
