They will start claiming they can charge you for each one of those. I knew people who were at that Droz D Low Brown thing. Since the Steroids were getting tested or phased out. They were saying how he was not strong enough to do that move anymore or so. It led to a lot more injuries along with fatalities that Wellness Policy Directly and Indirectly. I recall the Blue Blazer thing seeing that. Would be wild to see the Von Erichs in South Africa :). Though Fritz started as German Heel so it kinda fits too.

The way they continued the show after Owen's death was really screwed up. 20 minutes after it happened, Undertaker had a match and while he's in the corner you can see him just....staring....at the spot Owen fell. The crowd didn't even officially know he was dead and wouldn't until the next Raw, but I bet you Undertaker knew. Nobody wanted the show to continue, but Vince made it go on.
@pettykittyfam

Absolutely 💯 All Vince cares about is money & power. There should have been a dang police investigation after that incident... But Vince covered it all up. That's one more reason to add to the list of reasons Vince McMahon is the most disgusting human in wrestling.

As usual, Hogan’s ego and insecurities rob the fans of what could’ve been a great moment. I understand Vince and Hogan were friends and McMahon wanted to protect his golden goose but it’s the fans who put money into the pockets of McMahon and all his wrestlers. So if the people were starting to rally behind Jake, why not just roll with it and see where it goes?

Big Show actually was a pretty good athlete. He played basketball before wrestling. There’s actually a segment from WWE where Big Show and Bradshaw played a game of H-O-R-S-E with some popular WNBA player at the time. You can definitely tell he’s played. I know shooting a basketball and hitting a flip from the top apron are different, but not necessarily because it takes an athletic person to do so. I can believe it. I still would like to see it🤷‍♂️😂. But I can believe it. Those rings are bigger in person than they appear on a tv screen. I think he could get the lift. I remember old school wrestling I’m 34. WCW Giant did do some super impressive stuff. I never missed a night of wrestling growing up in those days so I remember that contrasts as opposed to when he became WWE Big Show. A bit heavier, a bit older, and smaller wrestlers don’t like the big guys doing high flying moves, it kills their gimmick of being the small guy, so I can see why he scrapped it from his lists of things to try again. 🤷‍♂️

The following quotes were sent to Fightful by the Two Man Power Trip team. Being the first to beat Bill Goldberg: Goldberg and I would work on a bunch of different things together in the (WCW) Power Plant. So we wrestled in a dark match and the booker was Arn Anderson. He said to me ‘Chad youre going over tonight’. Arn knew that we were pretty good friends at that time. We had a pretty decent match, he and I. I hit him with my finish, pinned him and we got the hell out of there. I didn’t think much of it until Bill said it in his book years later that I was his first loss. The Streak: No one would really know that Goldberg lost except Bill, Arn Anderson, and myself. One day about a year or so later, we were at Nitro, and they were trying to figure out his record for the Streak. So they are counting the guys, and I go up to them and say, ‘Well he didn’t beat me’, and we would have a good laugh about it. Bill is a great guy and he knows where he came from. He always remembered I beat him, even till this day, but its just something we laugh about. He keeps my friendship and while we haven’t spoken in a while, whenever we do speak we pick up right where we left off. He is a good friend.

The DX eating bananas during commentary part, we sure that's a dig at Cornette? Bare with me here, DX was feuding with damn near everybody at that time, including the Nation of Domination, who were in the match they were commentating. NoD's whole shtick was about how every white dude in and WWE as a whole, were racist. There's a certain well known racial slur where they're called a type of banana loving primate. Go back and watch Raw from the 90s. That program had no qualms about getting racist af. Like, I'm not one of those easily offended guys but there were several times during a recent rewatch where i had those "holy shit" kind of moments.

27:21 - I can confirm, I was there when they taped it. It was after Shawn Michaels super kicked undertaker to close smackdown on their road to wrestlemania. It was the day before St. Patrick’s Day in 2010. It was at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

iirc, Screwed: The Bret Hart Story was done as a way to blackmail Bret to come on board with the documentary they ended up doing... If Bret didnt get on board with WWE, then they would have released Screwed in its place

Two things: 1. The misawa footage, alot of videos of the footage where uploaded on you tube the day it happened but it got deleted all of those. However a picture of misawa split second before he landed does exists 2. Owen and kurt there is a pic of them backstage together and its alledged that the pic of them together is from their singles match where owen said what he said about what he saw in angle

The "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story" was scrapped after Bret was made aware that WWE was doing a burial piece similar to the Warrior's hit piece. Bret reached back out to WWE and they were able to put a deal together that gave Bret control over the content. Thus, the Bret Hart DVD, as we know it, was born.

The only thing about the Owen Hart incident is the spanish announce table commentary, we can hear them talk about what happend and also how WWE put the blue blazzer promo on the titantron while paramedics went and attended Owen.

my favourite wrestling lost media is "Yes sir, we promised you a great main event here tonight." from first second in wwe ~2011 intro. That full "match" (in fact that's movie about real match) is lost, propably forever. That's topic with many questions and zero 100% true answers

Regardless of all of AEW’s missteps, their scandals do not touch WWE’s. AEW had a backstage brawl between CM Punk and Jungle Boy while WWE have blood on their hands with Owen Heart and had the nerve to continue the PPV. Thank goodness social media was not a thing when it happened or else his fall would’ve been recorded and posted online.

Wasn't Tanaka's name Tatanka? He looks very similar to Tatanka (playing a native American Indian schtick in wwf in the early 90s). I remember seeing Big Show do that moonsault back in the day in WWE. I think it was him vs Brock Lesnar and the whole ring broke on impact lol OR was that a suplex? I'm getting too old to remember stuff hehe. SUPERB video mate. Your massive efforts compiling all this info is appreciated : ]

There was an episode of Radio WWF back at the end of 1993 where Randy Savage was going to break kayfabe on Hogan, who was scheduled to be a guest on that show, and accuse Hogan of causing his divorce from Liz. Hogan may have caught wind of the plan and backed out. Savage still went on his spiel without Hogan there.

Josh Barnett once had a TNA world title match with Lashley where two finishes were taped, presumably because of an impending ownership shakeup and ongoing negotiations or something. The one with Josh winning the belt was obviously never aired
