You are right. We were swooning. The Delfonics are one of the many outstanding groups of the 1970s. We were so spoiled.

Philly was the place to be from the 60s thru 80s. Gamble & Huff, Thom Bell & Bunny Sigler, were turning out hit after hit, after hit... I have memories that will last a life time. 🎶💖

The Delphonics, The Chi-lites, The Impressions, The Platters & my favorite, The Stylistics. These are the groups that created Silk, Troop, Hi-Five, The Force MD's, Shai & others. This is REAL Music right here. So happy you're appreciating my music and bringing back memories. Thanks Ashley.

Released in 1968. This is considered the first song in that transition from the Motown sound to Philly Soul. It was Thom Bell and William Hart's first big hit and laid the groundwork for their subsequent domination of 1970's soul and r&b.

The name to look for on future songs is Thom Bell. He produced, co-wrote & arranged this & many other masterpieces. Groups like The Stylistics & The Spinners were also his collaborators. So many great songs & you haven't scratched the surface. I was only 10 when this was released & it's still one of my all-time favorites. Seeing that beautiful smile on your face was heart-warming.

Yes the panties were dropping frequently in the '75-'78 High school years. But with Bootsy Collins "Munchies for your love" It starts out slow and easy and as his song rhythm increased so did yours. You just had to hold it together until the climax which was chaotic. Also I am so sorry to hear you have so much going on in your personal life. I noticed you no longer wearing that large diamond ring. You are strong, beautiful with fun charm and sex appeal. Trust God to see you through.
