This just dawned on me but I have a theory about why we're always the favorite patient. All the patients at the sanitarium are you. You are like a person with a ton of different bodies that are not tied together by thought but something else. All the doctors tell you you're their favorite patient because all patients are you. Could be because of a time travel loop, like right after the procedure you are traveled back in time to the appointment before you so thats why in one of E. R's videos (forgot which one) you can hear him tell the patient that just finished before your appointment that they are their favorite patient, whereafter he tells you the same thing. Or just cause theyre tryna play mind games but imma just say its like i theorize

I have a theory on this video. Since our POV character, the patient, paid with their brain, I think that they ordered things from their childhood to regenerate their brain with all of its memories. It may be farfetched but I think in the ER extended universe, with all of its weird anomalies, people can survive without their brains, and all of the people outside of the sanitarium had their brains removed which is why they are so primitive. So by ordering things that were from their childhood like, doritos, KitKats, a vintage mayonnaise jar, reeses cups, jelly beans, gummy worms, music, etc. Our character is able to manifest a new thinking vessel with all of their previous memories, by consuming things they could somewhat remember,lifting them out of their primal state. We also see certain ingredients in the order, void particles, sandman sand, and some kind of bottle, so maybe they create a vessel and then fill it with memories to regain full conscience. I'm thinking 2 parts void particles, 5 parts sandman sand, and 3 parts blood of user? Anyways that's just a theory. -Me
