I just noticed something after all these years: In the first passage in the original STARGATE when Jackson joins the team on the other side there are icicles on part of his clothing. The director had the idea, in the commentary, that when being molecularly resequenced he imagined it being cold-like a vacuum perhaps. When the Delorean arrives back it is covered in ice and confirmed by the doc to be very cold. I wonder if Stargate took inspiration from that.

Great movie. I have spotted two minor continuity errors in this scene, which are very much justified. The first one is the straight burning car traces at 3:41, that don’t match the revolving behavior of the car when it reappears and the second issue is that Dr Brown and Marty are chatting more than one minute before the reappearance. But I think that those errors serve the drama and pacing better than their omission.
@icer1249 Жыл бұрын
there are several more errors with this scene. First how did doc get the delorian into the truck? he couldnt possibly open the doors so he had to of driven it into the truck and waited for Marty to show up to give himself a cool entrance. next theres the fact he said temporal experiment no.1. that means hes dosnt know its going to work and put himself and a 17 yr old at risk of being hit by a car doing 88mph while filming it. The time machine requires a time to be input to jump. So he must of preprogrammed the time it returns and had this entire encounter timed down to the second. If you pause at the right time when hes strapping einstien in the times on the board are all wrong and dont make sence, its also the first "jump" so there shouldnt be a previous time yet Next the delorian is a manual, yet not once does he change gears. Shown in future jumps the car maintains its speed during jumps, which means it has some incredible brakes (and in the wet), going from 88 to 0 in about 15 meters.
