It would be a shame to see the village shop go extinct. My grandmother would always go to the village shop to buy a pound of flour, a pound of sugar, two ounces of butter and two Gills of lard oil, etc. If she didnt have any money the shop keeper would always allow her to trust and she would alway pay. We need to have that same spirit of honesty and integrity in our communities today. We must save the old village shop.

I love the village shops, the Bayland had alot of them, I wonder if there're still some.🤔

Just a few village shops are left. They are struggling to survive as they cannot compete with the big conglomerates such as Massy, Wabisco, Purity, PriceMart, CostULess, Hanschell & Innis, etc.

I'm already acting by bringing it to the consciousness of the people, and I do not buy from those greedy conglomerates.
