This is a YA novel. A very good YA novel and one of my favorites. But no, ASoIaF worlbuilding and complexity are on another league.

Is there a chunk kissing between part 1 and 2? It sounded like the queen was about to bring up the princess and guard in the hallway at the end of part 1 and then the conversation turns into an argument that finishes as soon as part 2 starts. How much is missing? Anything vital?
