I have a Denman and we had to buy my 4 year old one of her own. She has natural "Shirley Temple" curls and brushing it (especially in the mornings when it looks like a rat's nest!) was a pain in the butt before a Denman. I often have mine in my purse so we got her one of her own so it is always there. Just the other day we were in Sally and she was looking at the brushes and goes "That is just like MY Denman!" The girls working there just started laughing. If you have kids with curly hair and they pitch a fit when you brush it, get a Denman...my daughter doesn't yell and run like she used to when we would pull a brush out! Like the other posters, I too purchased mine a year or so ago thanks to your advice. I think Denman owes you a cut of their proceeds!

i've been using a paddle brush for at least five years i find it's the best everyday hairbrush for girls with really thick hair. i use it first time i brush through my hair to get the bed head out and since it is cushioned you can run it under the faucet and then it wets your hair really easily. overall best hair brush for girls with thick hair

I'm loving this hairstyle on you. I recently lightened my hair just a bit darker than yours here. I tried this style and my hair from bangs to crown are short. Didn't execute.

I have the same two brushes as in the video and they are amazing. I also have the mixed bristle grooming brush by Denman. I use this one at night to brush out my hair and help the natural (and not so!) oils spread through my hair to the ends - SKM gives that tip.

i have a question. i've seen in other videos that the rock n rollers can curl your hair and it lasts for two days. do you put them back in at night or do you just sleep with your hair out?

I have a paddle brush which is not a Denman, but it is really good with nobly bits on. Can I ask 2 questions, 1 which Denman brush would you recommend for thick hair? The 9 or 7 row Denman brush? 2 Can you run through what is the best way to keep your brushes clean? Thanks

Spray the brush with antibacterial spray you can get at beauty supply shops to clean it. For thicker hair, the 9 row brush would be best, I think. :)

Would you recommend this puddle brush for me? I have intense curly hair but not too thick, like fine/medium hair texture. I do struggle with frizz and I only use a hair brush in the shower :)
