Imagine if Murray had not signed the extension. The justifications and narrative would have been there. Instead, the team shows him loyalty and secures him and his grandchildren for life. And he repays them with this level of performance?

You can forget about that broski, Murray is done and has mentally checked out. He's currently enjoying his Ben Simmons role, dipping in the 50 million bag and just cruising through the season with 40% shooting, all while being one of three 50mil players in the league. Yup, Ben Simmons vibes are real.

With P-Wat not getting the playing time versus Strawther, I think they need him ready for the playoffs and they're trying to get him going. Also, remember the previous game when Coach was talking about the guys not playing for each other, he did mention specifically that someone had been talking about how many minutes they were going to get to play. Did P get on Malone's bad side because his priorities were in the wrong place? Then, you may remember Malone's comment that they weren't playing for each other, but themselves and they were being selfish.🤔

Also even if we assume that the team has a chance to be as good as it was on its 2023 run, the entire league has gotten a lot stronger and the good teams have all learned how to better exploit Jokic ball (to varying degrees of success) - it would require some insane chemistry to pull off anything fantastic as well as no bad luck with injuries

It would be better if Booth trade up for Knecht instead of Holmes, would rather have ball handling, shot creation and SHOOTING around Nikola Jokic than a hustle guy and scrapy undersized forward DENVER NEEDS MORE SHOOTING THAN AN ENERGY GUY POWER FORWARD

I feel at least for the regular season while we don’t have a go to back up center right now. We cut ag’s minutes a bit with the starters so we don’t over use him when he plays back up center and then give those minutes to Payton to play pf on the starters

This year nothing... Serbia needs Jokara for European Championship... After that World (Cup) Ch. So with 2 gold medal they can build up winner mentality for the next OG PS. You guys had your ring, if no more rings, that not Jokers fault PPSS.. He would help Serbia much more :) Keep up the good work "zemare"

I feel like the connection comes from practicing together more than playing in a game where it's high pressure to perform immediately. That's what the NBA is lacking, in my opinion, because there's so many games that they don't practice together aside from the short pre-season. They don't build that chemistry and bond. I don't know if things changed, but in Europe, I remember teams would usually have 2 games per week, one in their regular league and one in the international league and they would practice a lot in between and the practice is what bonds them.

Sorry guys, but Jok can not carry the whole team. It's just unfortunate that Jokic momentum is upwards and the rest of team players' downwards (with a few player exceptions).. Nuggets management fkd up this year, didn't learn the lessons from 2023..

Every player in the rotation has exceeded expectations, with the exception of Murray, who has been bad.
@ajcornstar10 сағат бұрын
8:04 Coach Malone's weakness is making the proper rotation, Worried about Peyton Watson's development and LIMITED MINUTES, maybe play AG off the bench? Denver need a rotations consultant just like what they have with Saunders PEYTON WATSON BEING IMPOUND IN THE DOGHOUSE and being BENCHED because of spacing?

Denver has ZERO chance of winning a championship without Murray playing like the all star he isn't and all the other players over-performing by a wide margin. This team around Jokic sucks.

Regarding the energy... Jok has a newborn at home, so there is that. Probably has some sleep deprivation. 🤷♀️ But, I do also think he's frustrated. He has to keep digging the bench out when he comes back on the floor. Little rest. I hope he isn't ran into the ground by the time playoffs come again.

I believe The Nuggets are a second apron team with the new extensions? If they are, they cannot bundle contracts to make a trade. They have to trade salary for salary and are not allowed to bring in more than what is going out, for example if they are trading a $5 mil contract, they cannot bring back $5.1 mil or more. They can bring in less but i think it has to be within range of the $5 mil.
@yessirski936712 сағат бұрын
@ They are currently below the second apron. Being projected to go over the second apron amount in the future doesn’t make the second apron restrictions apply now afaik. They’re over the first apron tho so I believe they can’t take back even a dollar more than they send out in a trade
@sammyslam112 сағат бұрын
@@yessirski9367 ...ok so they can bundle contracts in a deal so what you can do is go to NBA Trade Machine and search around for trade ideas using the players you mentioned in your comment. Let me know what you come up with!
@arnavanand92579 сағат бұрын
Nuggets should go to blazers and ask for robert williams and dalano banton. Robert williams is a must. Robert williams current trade value is 2 second round picks. The only risk is his injuries but we need him as backup so it's a risk worth taking. If he will get going he is a dpoy level player. Dalano can easily cover off bench shooting and scoring issues. He is hitting 3s at 39%. And can be a very good 3 and d player. I wanted someone like keon ellis but it ain't possible. So dalano perfectly suits us
@sammyslam19 сағат бұрын
@arnavanand9257 ....you don't get much value out of a defensive backup center although he would clearly be better than Jordan, Saric, or Nnaji. I think you would want more of an offensive backup center since scoring is more the issue of the reserve minutes rather than defense. The problem right now is they are not scoring because the second unit doesn't have an identity. Coach Malone said in an interview that he doesn't want it to the "Westbrook" show, so i think Russ is trying to make sure he runs the offense the coach prefers but the problem is he has no chemistry with any of the players and the few times someone gets an open shot, they are missing. If Coach Malone would loosen up, i think The Nuggets could use a player like Robert Williams, because we all know Russ is really good flying around and being a one man show on the offensive end, while also piling up assists. However since Coach Malone doesn't want that, i think The Nuggets actually need a center/power forward type player that can space the floor and shoot but one that is a better defender and rebounder than Dario Saric because ideallly Dario Saric should be filling this role easily. I also believe they probably need to move Zeke Nnaji and Julian Strawther in a deal for a veteran shooting guard in their combined salary range... A vet who is a better defender than Julian Strawther. I like the idea of Robert Williams if Russ is given the green light to go score. Make or miss, just get up a lot of shots.

Ben Simmons vibes happen to be in Murray, what's worse is knowing that Denver had Donovan Mitchell in bag on draft night 9 years ago and choose a fn mapel syrup Murray... Just wild.

One guy has a ring and the other doesn’t. And Denver drafted Mitchell for Utah cause the deal was already done. Murray has been playing bad but let’s calm down lol
@branislavdrinic38314 сағат бұрын
@ant_turnt My man, let's be honest here, Murray is done, that ACL + the bag he's won this year just made him into a Ben Simmons. Are you telling me that Murray is better than Mitchell? Remove the ring season for a side and just compare them season by season + individual accolades they have and most importantly health. Murray is gone both mentally and physically, he just can't sniff Donovan's jock strap. Pure facts. Do you see Murray's "speed" on the court vs Mitchell's? The man is struggling in dribbling a centre, I won't even bring to dribble past a guard as that's just not possible for him anymore. Just sad that he's wasting Jokic's 30pt triple double season and just doesn't fn care.
