+/- told the real story in that game. Jokić was +23, and that is how things looked on the floor. With him on they win, without him they are toast. Murray made a couple of nice plays down the stretch - i feel like I am complimenting a role player at this stage.

The Nuggets are still a Jokic hard carry job, but it's nice to see Steve Kerr losing his rag against us has nearly become tradition now.

Literally everyone is playing above their expectations except Murray. The problem is I don't think it will get better for him. If that is true we are done even tho other are playing great
@RS-ol8or7 күн бұрын
Some switch definitely flipped on Murray, and not for the better. I think it’s mostly between his ears. He got paid, he’s got a massive ego, he has no self respect to play with integrity & help his team, he apparently has zero shame when he plays like 💩 daily….and now Denver has a massive problem on their hands when it’ll come time to try to offload a 50 million a year player. Jordan Poole 2.0
@nikolakrstic80797 күн бұрын
@RS-ol8or I agree 100% but I do think that he looks unsure with his legs. To me it looks like he is afraid to give it his all to go full speed and especially to land. It's not obvious but there were a few instances that seemed like that to me

I hate when they say, that play, that player won that game, about a player who went for 12 points on 33% and got smoked whole game on defense and is getting paid 200 MIL...

These podcasters know where it's at. They are desperate about the 40 (!!!) that Jokić had to play. They are saying that Jamal wasn't good enough. They complimented him for a few things he did well.

"When we win it´s easier to make adjustments after the game. When we lose,it´s much more difficult". Coach Malone said this and I think it´s the right time to tell Murray all the things he could do better because after a win it´s much easier for anyone to accept criticism.

Murray is not passing the ball well. Hes just passing more often. He misses open people ESPECIALLY Jokic all the time. Westbrook is such a better passer.

Gotta sweep Clipers in this year playoffs to show that most dominant team in LA is Denver
@glennmejorada73958 күн бұрын
i feel that this season, murray only deserves $17M for the year, and porter $27M. jokic deserves to get an additional $10M just for the sheer weight of the load that he carries. if only the excess payment murray and porter receives (but mostly murray) can be used to take back KCP and BB, get a good back-up center, get a better PG, and add-on to CB's. if only.
@deelak23298 күн бұрын
Only 10 mill extra? Brother, he needs half of every players salary how much he is carrying this team.

Why would you give Murray 17m? For what?

I hate the fact that people are just looking at statistics and saying MPJ should take more threes. For years the whole league knows he is a sniper and he has a constant marker on him . Reason he is so much better offensively is that he attacks the basket consistently now . Screw the threes and set the zone defense and than run it down their throats in the paint with size denver has
@josiah15837 күн бұрын
I think the idea isn't for him to change his game but just get him the ball more. Especially while Jamal is struggling.
@zoranpajic21038 күн бұрын
Melon asks everyone to look in the mirror and be leaders, and he doesn't have the courage to do that and say that the only problem on the team is Jamal, but how can you say that when Jamal has a max contract... but that's exactly what a true leader and brave coach does
@RS-ol8or7 күн бұрын
Everyone can see this won’t be sustainable in the playoffs, correct? That’s where their many weaknesses will get exposed, and Jokic can only carry these guys so far. Lotta heads are gonna roll this offseason; yeah I’m already looking ahead & curious what will happen. Josh Kroenke has major decisions ahead.

I agree with superstar Dev and the other panel memvers about Murray, but there are some areas where he's playing well. And that is as a point guard setting up others. Aside from atrocious lapses where he's standing still on offense and defense, he is looking at facilitating the overall offense and making assists and getting others involved. Much has been said about his inability to turn the corner, but it's just possible that he's lost it or is losing that skill. Perhaps he's hiding an injury or has become so focused on not re-injuring the knee that he can only go so far. It's just a theory, but I don't think he's given up; there's a possibility that he's doing all he can on offense now. If he was in bad shape physically, it seems like he would not be showing the effort on offense he's now displaying. In some ways, he reminds me of James Harden who is still effective despite his slow-down game. The Big Spiff

These silly little podcasters refuse to call out Malone - whose responsibility is it to tell the players there are NO TIMEOUTS LEFT? That’s on Malone, nearly cost them the game. They need to FIRE MALONE and bring in Jeff Van Gundy, who teaches defense.
