When Jamal is playing his best game, Nuggets are a serious contender.

Ay Matt! I started watching your play-by-plays a couple years ago and your growth, maturity, and ball knowledge has been really awesome to witness! Congrats on your Cs winning a chip and thanks for all the great Nuggets videos. Continued success and salute from Denver! 🫡 ⚒️🏀

It's refreshing with a channel that doesn't read form a spreadsheet. Great work

Scoring hasn't been a problem, we need defense plain and simple

This is exactly it. I don't think the Nuggets played better vs the Pistons than they did vs the Cavs. The only difference was the Pistons gave up way more free throws and couldn't keep up with the Nuggets' pace. To beat teams like the Celtics, OKC, and the Cavs, the Nuggets either need to play significantly better defense OR they need to increase their offensive pace even more.

It comes down to can Murray be healthy and by healthy I mostly mean have his athleticism back. Have his bounce back. When he’s like that like tonight, the entire team is different.

They can be contenders as long as murry picks up his game and keeps it high level. I love what Westbrook is doing. We will need Gordon healthy. Payton and Christian are playing on a winning level.. and jokic? Jokic is jokic !! We love our nuggets in Denver!!!!! Christian is developing nicely and will be a huge asset!! He brings great energy and athleticism to the team.. loved it when he picked on gobert at the rim

The big problem is, lately when they face aa tough defense, nobody wants to shoot. They all unload the ball back to Jokic. I pray for Murray to come back to his Championship level play.

Westbrook does this team justice on demeanor and work ethic alone. The fact that he is shooting the ball well, making great plays on offense and defense and just being in great shape, sometimes we forget this guy is going into year 17.

Should add a video about all the times Murray gives up on playing defense, and then try and debate if his amazing offensive tandem with Jokic makes up for him basically giving up open 3's or open dunks (due to Nuggets rotating their defense every set to cover for Murray's bad D) on every 2nd or 3rd opposing team possession.

Watching the Nuggets, specially when they also defend well, is watching basketball master classes.

your play analysis are cool, but i do feel that it would be better if youd play the whole action without pausing once and than go to do what you do, with pausing and drawing. just a suggestion :)

Game Denver that doesn't have a bench ?

They were awful last night but they have been doing much, much better and even winning their minutes in recent games. I think they’ll continue to improve and perform better, especially once AG is back and we have all five starters back in rotation, which has been rare this season.

If they run a starting five of: Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, Murray, and Russ when Gordon returns, this allows CB and Watson to be the first subs in for Murray and Gordon, so they can come back in to be the stars of the second unit against opponent reserves. With Gordon's ability to space the floor, he doesn't have to do as much banging inside when he is with the reserves, Jordan will take the dunker spot for pick and roll action with Jamal. CB and Gordon can space the floor and Coach Malone can decide between Strawther, MPJ, Watson, and Tyson as to who gets minutes with this group.... This gives The Nuggets an opportunity in the non Jokic minutes to keep 3 starting level players on the floor(Murray, Gordon, and CB) and in some cases 4 (Gordon, MPJ, CB, and Murray) With Jordan playing so well at center now, no need to use Gordon as a small ball five(which should be saved for the postseason) This allows Coach Malone an opportunity to try and look at Nnaji and Saric next to Jokic..... Instead of CB and Watson when Murray and Gordon sit, it can be either CB and Nnaji or CB and Saric....both can space the floor and both have a little more natural size than Watson..... I wouldn't mind seeing a five of: Jokic, Nnaji, Tyson, CB, and Russ.....but i would use this against weaker opponents, not against really good teams that are deep. A trade is still needed to improve the bottom 8 of the roster.....right now i see 7 essential players at the top of the rotation(Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, CB, Murray, Russ, and Jordan, specially for the non-Jokic minutes) The only player of the bottom 8 i am not moving is Hunter Tyson because he does exactly what you want from a role player in limited minutes. Just a very smart and aggressive role player. However if another team is demanding him in a deal i am ok with moving him if it means i am able to move the contracts of Saric and Nnaji....that would be my top priority.

Nuggets need to manage their load for the playoff. So many injuries this season.
@sammyslam13 күн бұрын
@@aquamarine56 ....yes. Coach Malone should be using his bench in more creative ways. Blending starters with role players more often....

Yeah Westbrook was great except for those 6 turnovers...
@hedwigleemans62493 күн бұрын
Murray is not consistent and way too personal player. Jokic is alone, he needs more talent around him. Ol Westbrook is his best partner - that says it all.
