Intro - Surah Ale Imran, Verse 185:
كل نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
Translation:
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the delusion of enjoyment.

Every true man needs this, and every feminine woman clearly understands this. Every person with clear heart appreciates it. And of course, every hypocrites despises this topic and that's how it is meant to be for them, and yes, the hypocrites will not get any of it anyway. I invite you to give details of authentic hadiths and Quran on this topic if any remaining unabashedly in the next lecture. No sugercoating is the best policy as you say. And I agree. Good woman has the amazing ability to be fully content even with a jealous heart in this life so long halal, a power man does not possess. We spend our whole youth being chaste and working on careers to get married, then to find out how difficult it is to get married and going through that trial. It is completely fair to be rewarded in the afterlife with some kind of compensation. Death is either a relief from anxiety from either the loss of what we once had or the desire for what we want. How merciful of Allah to reward us even more and to compensate us? It motivates many young men or men to worship more for real life where there will be no more disappointment anxiety or loss. Why does this bother people?

First of all there is no authentic hadith on that matter, it's just some Scholars made that statement because some of the companions implied it to their spouses but only Allah knows how it will be. Also you're bringing your wordly mindset into something much bigger & complete, Allah can make u love & be happy even if it was not your wife in this earth .since he's just & fair then u won't even have any complains.... just make sure you do your best to get into Jannah, that's the most important part to focus on .

I intentionally used blunt language *to highlight* the blunt nature of the hoor al ayn, and how little there is to actually lecture about them. The original commenter I responded to wanted a detailed lecture on the texts surrounding it, and my point was that all of the texts are simply derivative of the two main aspects of the hoor al ayn: that they are beautiful, and that they are ours to "sow our seeds in", if that's a more Islamic way of putting it.

jall close your aortic valve if you have a problem Allahummabarik kheir kheir kheir jazakallahukheir barakallahufeek Allahummabarik kheir with Allahs karam and lutfAmeen Allahumma Ameen kheir with When you said Iris, you meant Sclera and when you said Pupil, you meant Iris, right? Sclera is the white part of the eye, and Iris is the colorful part. Pupil is black always for everyone, it is through which light goes in. Also all Arabs' Iris may not necessarily be black even 1400 years ago, and it is definitely not all black Iris today for all Arabs.

I understand what you’re saying but to say women don’t have urges is not correct and just like men want hoor and diff women, we also want to have diff types of men. Like here i notice men, watch tv actors etc. but have to lower my gaze, so in paradise I want to look and enjoy men just like men do to women. Men might go for the physical but women might want romantic relations with all types of men. Perhaps this will happen. I thought the Quran mentioned men getting hoor because so many were going to fight and prob martyred so they knew they may not marry so never had a relationship, so Quran says this so that they would not feel they are missing out but gives them hope for such pleasures in Janna whereas women in those days did not have to sacrifice their lives in war. Sorry if I offend.

Which make sense, because hoor al ayn are one dimensional. They exist only to be beautiful for us, and to satisfy us. That's it. When I read the Quran, I get the clear impression that Hoors are highly noble, pure and elevated special creation of Allah. So Br. Yasir Qadhi, who are you pleasing when you say, they are almost like servants (I think thats your slip of tongue), and they are only confined to tents outside, and they will like never ever be out of their tents etc. How are you so sure? What do you mean when you say the Hoors will not enjoy the Jannah? May be you meant they will not enjoy like us, but you were not clear. Perhaps they will enjoy Jannah more than us, bottom line, Allah knows and we do not know. You will not be able to please the woman lacking understanding that you seem so careful to cater, and you are giving the Orientalist types, the ones you are understandably cautious of, false armors (and they never have true armors) to attack Islam with this line of meandering. What is the necessity of or even grounds for demeaning and restricting of Hoor's status as compared to earthly woman, and what is the necessity of or grounds for drawing this subtle status competition between Hoors and earthly woman? Hoors are a different noble creation of Allah for the purpose Allah knows best, and any sort of comparing them with earthly woman of Jannah in afterlife sense (with their new Jannah body)will go nowhere. It will be like comparing apples with oranges, though both are fruits, you cannot meaningfully compare them. May be that is one of the reasons why faithful wives will have a zero jealousy against this pure, honorable but different creation of Allah.
