Come-on new generation!!!!! Step up without too much change. Everyone wants to be unique and have a sound but sometimes that sound masks the true beauty of the music that could be. Old country was pure. No really unique sound except maybe willie nelson's guitar. But the voices and the words and strings communicate the message so much more clear then some weird electronic synthesis that people add to new music. Keep it pure and simple. Like your playing on your front porch with some buddies.

Indeed. I hope good music makes a return once again :)
@rodger33523 жыл бұрын
@@waterlife.1905 I quite agree with you. I'm not even from an English-speaking country and I'm from the newer Generation but I love the old sounds too much. I'll definitely play my part in preserving and appreciating such good music for the future generations to appreciate it too :) G'day

I have been following Chris Hillman from when he was with the byrds. I saw him live at the San Mateo County Fairgrounds in the Desert Rose band perform this song about 20 years ago or so. He never got the recognition he so deserved

Going crazy trying to remember who the female performer was who came up with a song with a similar title circa 1980 or so. I don't know if it was this same song, or one with a similar title. Might have been "Two Steps Forward and One Step Back", though. ?

Old songs have the feels that can't be beaten. Stumbled upon this one, while searching for an song playlist for my story ~ A Step Forward from the book ~ My Tom-Boy Girlfriend. Not going to lie, had to listen to it multiple times to convince me before zeroing on it. Now can't get it out of my head. Truth be told no other song was close to this. It's unbelievable that even at their age they were able to have an event and sound the same, as they were in their prime. Kudos to them!
