⁠​⁠@@kevink7529Tom is the driving force of both MEitM and MEaD. He can be a bit pessimistic sometimes I agree. But while manny panel members their more specialised opinions come from their unique perspective, either because of his own knowledge or by taking part in other podcasts Tom is able to provide more generalistische knowledge and general overview on topics. As a listener for many years now I find he also has a really good track record of being right with his takes and predictions.

Paul saying Disney+ isn't a bad platform now that it has the Fox properties means the only thing worth watching on it are the Fox properties. And I'm not giving Disney any money for stuff that: A) I already own on physical media. B) I could just as easily watch (without ads) on the friendly isles of Tortuga. If your streaming service is dependent on IPs you vastly overpaid for, then you're not a good platform.

Guess that is personal taste, and if you have kids, or your partner likes watching old classics, but it definitely adds value and a lot of content to complement. That said, I personally don't care for it, because their new content is garbage, loathe Disney as a company, and the older good things I don't have need to watch them again there.

Most women I've spoke or heard comments about a movie, give it a pass if either the guy is handsome, there's an actress they are a fan of, similar to why Disney choses these social media "stars", there is something cute, or a bit of romance, etc. Make a Deadpool movie with Jeff the Shark from Rivals, and even if it is mid, like this last one was, and without Wolverine, watch it make a billion easy, and sell a sht ton of merch. They can even have a skit, he neglects or gets rid of dogpool because Jeff is more adorable.

They had good movies in there up until Inifinity War, it goes downhill from there. They can do a lot with the universe the issue is they don't like to properly adapt the good stories there is and as they should be
