The problem with Karan Johar is that he is listening to the wrong people (Rajeev Masand, Rahul Desai, Sucharita Tyagi etc.). As a result, he made an absolute abomination like Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which was filled with woke activism. This was the man who used to rule commercial cinema at one point of time .. his influences were Raj Kapoor, Yash Chopra and Sooraj Barjatya. Anyways.. Karan's early films will always be modern classics and their impact on pop culture will always be celebrated. I still like Karan and many of his ventures... but, it's not what it used to be..sad.

I was a huge movie buff.. every saturday ngt i used to go watch movie. BTH i dont feel like wasting my money in theatre anymore. Movies are bad, boring, actors are average, dialogues r forgetable. No director or producer ia ready to take risk . Last movie i saw was lapataa ladies and m glad i watched it newcomers were far better thn nepokids.

I honestly like and enjoy all to most Karan Johar movies. These movies are some that I can watch many times and not get bored. I have no problem that he is an avenue to launch star kids. To be honest there are so many old actors whose kids I would love to see and if he is a platform to see them then so be it. For some of us its nostalgia of yesteryear actors and probably they live in our eyes through their kids. There are many amazing talents out there and they do shine in their own respect. There is commercial cinema and then there is the Art of Cinema and most of the star kids, Well maybe they don't have that Art down pact which is just fine cause that's when the outsiders shine and their movies are what we call true cinema. Karan's movies are entertainment that one can lose themselves after a long stressful day and say Yeah a little love and romance of different style is so welcomed!! He has made many different kinds of movies or his production has been part of a lot of different cinema. Look at the latest movie Kill that released. Incredible movie!! Just amazing acting and these guys are not related to anyone in Bollywood. Dude knows his art and he is good at it. Yes he is full of faults and who isn't. People sell their soul for a dollar. Everyone wants to earn and when these stars go on his show they are not "THAT NAIEVE!!" They are also using him to get some marketing done for themselves. Cause as long as people are speaking about you, You are Relevant! And once no one does, No one cares!! So if in todays socio-economic world you want to be relevant, you get some controversies on yourself so people are chatting about you. Most of such people get off on videos being made about them. Apparently he does also and all of you are making videos about him. We are talking about him. So you know he loves that. Your video was very nice and well done. I like your work. You speak with a lot of respect and you never insult anyone. You ask questions to the public and present facts. Keep up the good work. 👍

I totally get where KJo is coming from. While most celebrities try to keep their personal life and thoughts personal thoughts personal, kjo gives a glimpse into his. I have no issues if he just wants to launche star kids, or work only with industry insiders. That's his choice. But really I don't think kangana filmy Career is over because of kjo, but because she is a senseless person who let a couple of hits go to her head. I always have great empathy towards him...he demonstrates his own struggles and experiences in his movies cuz he knows thera are many like him in our society and by showing lights on such social issues he can normalise them in our society.... The man is talented thats why he is so relevant...its not something too great to say that he himself alone has styled our nation by his great creative mind...but yes!! What he has done with Priyanka was completely wrong....but Kagana herself started the fight with him... without considering that the guy too had hustled alot ...and would ruin anyone first before they try to ruin his relevance ....All i have respect for Karan... Kj has never encouraged outsiders like SSR. India is a country with a huge population, and there are many talented youth who excel in acting and dancing with good looks and super skills. However, K J always supports star kids and individuals from wealthy backgrounds. Normal people often end up sidelined or relegated to dance groups. He plays god, dedain poor people. He made some good movies but current movies are boring, illogical.

Karan Johar single handedly destroyed Bollywood business. Because of this camp and clique's favouritism, he controls PR, distributors, theatres, many movie producers, journalists,reviewers, award functions and TV industry as well. He has used this to give advantage to nep kids and create obstacles for outsiders. He has schemed against others. He also made sure nepo kids got all the underserving awards. He made sure undeserving nepo kids got all the international brand deals. Because of his PR strategy social media is always pushing nepo kids photos, brand deals, holidays and movies to the public. We see them all the time despite several flops or no films like Jhanvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Suhana Khan etc. The reality is that if Karan Johar existed in 50s,60s and and 70s. He wouldn't have let Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Dilip Kumar, Sanjiv Kuma etc exist. If Yash Chopra wasn't backing Shah Rukh Khan in the 90s, Karan Johar would have destroyed SRK's career also.
