There is a big difference between being the OC and then the headcoach is a few steps up. I think Ben returns but Glenn he is pretty much going and he deserves it. I know Glenn was coaching the LB coach Kelvin Sheppard to take over as DC.

Based on Ben Johnson's reasons for staying last year; If the Lions pay him or at least match any of the offers he gets, i don't think he'll leave.

BJ & AG both should remain in Detroit to create the *Lion-NASTY*. BOTH of them are excellent at OC and DC.... Neither of them would do very well as a HC, especially with the current fkn TRAIN WRECK teams they would be saddled with!!!!!!! Staying in Detroit to create a dynasty would be the SMART move on both of their parts!!!

AG is going to go somewhere and he has earned it. Hate to lose him but the man has earned it. As has BJ, difference is BJ AND his family love living in Michigan. BJ was here before Shiela. He has experienced less than ownership and great ownership under Shiela Hamp. He IS NOT going to go to a team with uncommitted ownership. One Pride.

Sheila Ford Hamp needs to pay BJ and AG to keep them in Detroit for at least 2 more years. Once a dynasty is established it pretty much self preserves. Then they can both take HC jobs with Super Bowl experience.

I always greatly respected the job Aaron Glenn was doing with the defense. I knew that he just didn't have the talent to really get it done last season, and they still came within about 3-4 plays from making the Super Bowl... Now that's some next-level coaching, not to mention what he's done with the massive amount of injuries they've had on defense this season...

idk why nobody listens to BJ he said multiple times he wasn't ready to leave Detroit he loves it here and seen what happens to coordinators who step up and become HC they get fired and he doesn't want that.

New Orleans looks like a perfect fit for AG. If he were to wait, he might not find a better job. There doesn’t appear to be a perfect fit for Ben Johnson, so it makes better sense for him to wait. Besides, he is young and has lots of time. The question for Ben is how ambitious he is. He simply might not want to wait another year.

Why does one who gives a team a 99.9 percent chance to win a Superbowl want to go elsewhere?? Is it just the "Money Difference"" or future greed turn ones mind to the misguidance of choice of direction?? May destiny guide those who are lost on reality take a path of reality and appreciation of who got them to where they are today!!! That's reality!!

What I am saying that this team has helped the overall future of choice for some. Is it the proper choice or the pressure of future monetary gain!! One can be a Dynasty without financial gain. That's all I'm saying.

@RichardStanczak
@RichardStanczak 16 күн бұрын
It’s got nothing to do with the pay. Ben is still very young, and may just not feel the situation is right to take a HC job. Ben wants stable ownership and a GM that he respects and can work with. I don’t think he cares about the QB, what draft choices the team has, or their CAP space. He wants a good working environment.
@toxicfpv304

@@RichardStanczak another big thing with Ben Johnson is he seems to care about job security...... i don't think he will leave the lions to take over a failing organization that will fire him a year later if he doesn't have an instant turn around.... Ben Johnson already got his bag last year and will 100% get another bag this year if he decides to stay..... the fords will 100% give him what he wants..... i would love to have ben and Glenn to stay with Detroit..... but if i had to bet Glenn would move from the lions before ben would.... Glenn has ties to the saints and i could 100% see him turning around that team in a great way.... that said..... MCDC and Brad have a nose for talent.... and i could see them finding a great fit for the DC job..... also Scottie Montgomery could slide into the OC job while still being the asst coach..... im worried about losing Hank Fraley also..... he could 100% land an OC job somewhere.... and he has been huge for our oline

Im so worried about how many really good players we're goong to lose. We're paying Amon, Sewell, Deker, Ragnow, Alim, Goff and we need to pay Aiden, Branch, Kirby, Jamo, Gibbs, LePorta, Onwuzerike, Jack Campbell, another D end, the LB from Purdue *😂. FR we cant keep them all, who do you let go? Even just. The Safety positions. You cant pay 2 safeties that much. Its crazy.

Make Ben the highest paid coordinator, even if it's above some of the other head coaches in the league. Everyone saw how the head coaching transition went for McDaniels when he left New England.

With or without Ben, this team will continue to rise and win, an OC leaving or both OC and DC don’t take away all the talent on the roster, draft picks, getting injured players back etc…There are plenty of high powered to be be OC’s at there which we will hire once Ben does indeed leave this year or next. Ben has had some pretty rough play calling at times through the year, for example first half against the Vikings last week, a lot of iffy run plays that get stuffed and continuing to go back to it next play, with that said I obviously love what he’s done with this team but just saying we’re not SOL without him

Why is this named the same as another Channel? I like both of you but he had this name for a few years now I think. It's confusing - are you guys together? Again - I love both of you! You're a Packers fan who knows the Lions so dang well - and I truly respect your awesome demeanor and fairness and you make me feel like you're a Lions fan at times!

AG is making a big mistake going to the Saints. THE team has been a dumpster fire for 2 years and the GM wants to retain coaches. So AG will be just another disposable commodity. I would rather he be in NO instead of Chicago however!

Ben Johnson needed to go to the Jags but the owner made the decision to keep the gm and with Ben he needs to much to succeed and get it done, Glen can keep a defense in games with nothing, but who would he have to get the OC job because i dont want him to end up like Salah (jets old HC). Is my only question for him
