The hardest map in the game is Embrion, because you not only have to survive the Old Birds, you not only have to survive the traps inside, but you ALSO have to come up with a reason that justifies spending 150 credits for a map that gives you Experimentation loot (and kills you)! SPOILER: The reason you would go there is to watch everybody you know die around you and then follow suit

Butlers behave differently around multiple players so it's probably the multiplayer mod breaking them. I've seen them functioning normally in other footage.

I think the reason for old birds to make such random at first sounds is that these are the sounds people find unnerving or stressful to hear. Old birds were made as war machines so it would be logical to have them not only destroy enemies themselfs but their morals too.

I love the chaos in part 1 and by this one, Insym hears random screaming and barely pauses in talking to chat, like it's just commonplace at this point LOL This team is so fun to watch! My favorite way to waste time at work :D

The RNG on Art _is_ pretty heavy, but in all of those runs you got a minimum of 700 out even with crazy weather and bad RNG, so I think for a 4-man+ team it's very worth

There's a tonne of lore and another secret moon that is insanely dangerous and not at all worth in the sigurds log entry for the Old Birds. Genuinely the amount of lore in there is like equal to most other sigurds logs combined imo. Also, the way the robots activate is that they have the set posistions at the start of the day and then throughout the day it spawns them like any other enemy and then it randomly chooses one of the robots to activate - This means the amount of robots you see dormant at the start of the day is the max amount that can exist.

They read through the lore entry and went to that moon in the previous vid. Taking out the apparatus seems to activate all 500 robots instantly, so naturally they made it their goal to escape with the apparatus.

It is a war tactic thing, since in game it talks about a war on Titan, we can assume that the robots are war machines and make crying noises to lure in and disorientate unsuspecting soldiers (psychological warfare)

Love this new update so much, I just hate the baby scream sounds -- it genuinely makes me want to cry because nothing emotionally wrecks me more than an upset baby 😭 this update absolutely rocks though and it's been a blast watching you all play!

That's the point. What's psychologically more terrifying? A small creature that doesn't make noise or a large creature with advanced weapons that makes the 1 noise all humans can empathize with. Even if you hate babies you'd have to be a psycho to not be bothered by a sound of a baby crying in pain (it doesn't sound like a normal baby to me).

It seems like Artifice can potentially have the safest outside of all planets cause locking robots in the barns is insanely good since they still take up cap so you don't have to worry about other mobs spawning in their place.

Insym's done that before, but there's a couple of downsides so they don't do it every time. 1) The paint is inconsistently cleared after each day, so sometimes you'll go in the next morning and some random walls/doorways will have paint on them. 2) When your team trusts each other like this team does, you're confident that together you'll have cleared out all the non-tunnel rooms quickly, and then you can mostly rely on one or two people to map out the tunnel network while one person holds coilheads or does something like that and one person either ferries loot or controls turrets on the ship, so the tunnelers can just rely on their mental map instead of painting for the others. 3) Depending on the size of the map and the tunnel layout, there might not be that many tricksy paths and dead ends to worry about, so it might just be a waste of time to paint. 4) Paint does take up an inventory slot, so you probably only have 2 slots for actual loot until you ditch it, and unless it's on a steep discount sale it's probably only worth it after like 3-4 quotas anyway.
