I have two memorable moments in phasmo. One super early, and one semi-recent. I'll start with the super early It was on asylum, and it was closing in on an hour and a half of game time and we finally found the ghost room. The the ghost killed me as soon as I radioed in the ghosts room. It was comical. And also very frustrating. We did successfully complete that game. My second most memorable moment was probably about 2 years ago (around when Nightmare was released). I had convinced my friend to play Nightmare mode in VR alone and the MOMENT he walked in the door, the ghost did a ghost event right in his face and my bro fell to the ground he got so scared for a second lmao. Tearing up just thinking about it.

The only "old" memory I have of phasmo was a game of Willow Street with three of my friends back in like 2021. This was pre-cursed possessions. I don't remember a lot, only that it was like my 5th game, and the ghost started hunting. I hid in the bathroom behind the door, and listened to the ghost roam around. For a player with like 5 hours, it was absolutely terrifying, which is probably why it stuck with me to 2024. I didn't die, a friend tried looping the ghost and died at the very end. I think it was a mare?

aaaaahhh, Thanks to learning from your streams I quickly noticed I had a Yurei for my first weekly. It saved me a whole lot in the investigation. I still remained to double check if it really was a Yurei but it made it easier to know which evidence I was looking for and what I was looking to rule out. Anyway this was probably one of the most easiest weekly challenges for me to do :3 happy with the easy exp

I started playing Phasmo and watch Insym for 2 years now!! My first time playing was me getting thrown into Nightmare right away by my friends to make me learn the game faster AND make me try every single cursed possession, ofc it didn't go well but it was funny regardless 🤣 My favourite memory is first cursed possession was the voodoo doll, i was hella scared and stood right infront of the main entrance so i can run out if shit happens, ghost room was in the foyer of Tanglewood map, i hit the heart pin and the ghost was infront of me, killed me instantly 😭

I remember playing phasmo for the first time! I remember my friends saying the ghosts react to you talking, and I was in love! Edgefield was the first map I was on, and the ghost was in the bathroom at the top of the stairs! I don't recall what ghost it was, but I remember the rest.

i think i started around 2022, i have only played 30 ish hours so i still don't know what EVERY ghost does but i do know a couple thanks to you videos, i will keep watching them so i can get a good understanding of every single ghost

I joined phasmo about 6 months after it's release after watching your videos and thought it was cool so I bought it, played up until about a year ago or so when things in my life got little busy and didn't have as much time to play much of anything

we’ve been playing since like late 2020 (getting so many onis and banshees somehow lmao) but my fave moment is definitely back when they added the lightbulb exploding ghost event, i was napping on the couch while my roomie did a couple solo game, unaware of the new event. it scared him enough that he yelled and i asked, “whazz goin’ on?” he turned back to me angrily and grumbled, “go back to fucking sleep!”

I'm playing Phasmo and have just survived my first demon assassination attempt due to my habit of immediately bringing a crucifix to the ghost room. "Ha ha idiot, better luck next time." The next game I immediately find UV, but think, 'What are the chances of it being another demon?' and don't bring in a crucifix as I normally do. It IS another demon. Another demon that ALSO early hunts. I didn't even realize it was actually hunting and not a ghost event until I died.

Maaaan, for a second that thumbnail made me think they brought back old asylum as a weekly challenge. I hated old asylum as much as most people, but it would actually be kinda cool if it came back as a challenge or maybe even a random event with a trophy or something like how they do holiday events. I don't think it should be permanently back, but having it for a week or two would make it feel kinda special. I still have asylum nostalgia even though it was trash lol.

I’ve been playing since either right when it came out or the week after. I don’t have nearly as many hours though and I’m definitely not as good but it’s surreal having been here since the beginning

I think it would be sick if the ghost could spawn behind you, just being silent til you turned around. Or Maybe gaslight your friends disappearing when you turn around to look at it. Just simply things like that. Imagine the ghost just silently following you, and your friend on the camera freaking out seeing it chasing you, without you knowing.

on my first game i hunted a demon that hunted at like 90% sanity lol, on my second game i got a revenant with instant orbs and writing, i then just waited for freezing. i still havent played my 3rd game because im gonna play it with my friend

Phasmo keeps surprising me with its RNG man. I´ve been wanting the doom slayed achievement for so long and yesterday i did the weekly, I was in my third game and when I stepped into the house I was literally thinking: "I would´t even mind getting killed for the demon achievement now" and literally not even 3 seconds later my flashlight starts flickering, emf starts going crazy, door closes and I die 2 secs later (31sec game). HOW?!

Ive been playing ever since you had to hand pick contracts on the US map and you didnt get to choose the difficulty. Those were wild times, back with the old lobby and basketball 😂

i wanted to ask if somebody catched info about wraith and spirit if the water is dirty after u tap the sink? in very very first VR gameplay trailer u can hear this info that if water is dirty u are dealing with spirit or a wraith.. is it a thing ?

I loved playing the old phasmo so much, I played with my friends all the time, but it's just too different now and it's not what we want. I wish wish wish they'd release the old version on a beta branch or something. No hate to any of the changes they've made, but it's just not the same game anymore. I decided to buy and play the game for what it was at the time, and I want a way for me and my friends to access that again.

The progression system is what I dislike the most. Ruins my ability entirely to hop on to play casually for fun with friends.

I really hate games that require forced grinding. Probably would have been a pretty good idea to choose whether or not we participate in this. But that option is clearly not available for a reason.

Probably the only reason why Terraria is number one in my list for most replayed and most time spent. They actually love the fuck out of the entire community and aren’t biased. Phasmo was better with one Dev.

You clearly are a gamer and not a game dev. 1. Terraria is a singleplayer focus, Phasmo is a multiplayer focus. Ergo, their games are mostly hosted on servers. 2. The progression system only exists to you because the devs are greedy schmucks that want to suck your money out apparently, despite there being no way to buy experience or levels. 3. Terraria's grinding is just as monotonous and annoying as Phasmo's, it's just that you can't cope with the fact this game is not the same genre so you can't translate your skills and knowledge. 4. I've been playing casually with my friends for a while. We just know what mechanics to look out for, and split the equipment around so we don't lose too much money in the unfortunate times where we die. If a progression system is this hindering to you, then maybe the problem is not in the game, but your team. 5. The reason why you can't choose to opt out of the progression system is because what you're looking for is called "cheating" and that's not exactly good. If they added that into the game you will have different kinds of players. People who play with opt out, people who are elitist and think opt out players are bad, people who are cowardly and think the only way to play is with opt out, and people who are indifferent. 6. Make your own multiplayer horror ghost hunting game. If you want to complain so much about Phasmo not doing the things you want them to do, then do that stuff yourself instead of wasting your time comparing two completely different games in three separate comments/replies.

@@CrazehGaming have to agree, i just wanna be able to get on games for like 30 minutes and have access to everything even if i don’t get any real rewards. i just don’t care to play for weeks on end for a game that has no end game
