And because he didn't confess his feelings, Devi's relationship with Paxton grew and Paxton's character grew as well which made her choose him and I really hope in season 3 she doesn't leave Paxton after knowing that Ben still has feelings for her. I know this is a long one but just my opinion. Please don't judge://

But when Devi visited Paxton and told him that if the relationship was gonna be a secret one they'd rather mot be together, that's when Paxton realises without anyone telling him that he cabt afford to lose her because he really loves her. Even in the end you can see the pure love for her in his eyes... Also I have a feeling like IRL Maitreyi and Jaren have a lot more chemistry then her and Darren, which shows why their short relationship looks better on screen. I was totally Team Ben in season one but after seeing Paxton's character development in season 2, it's become so much harder to choose a Team. I honestly started to dislike her quite a bit in season 3 for the way she keeps ignoring her need for therapy and personal growth by manipulating other people to get what she wants. I actually enjoyed Nalini and Kamala’s arcs a lot more because they were growing and maturing in their own ways. I felt like Devi did little but backslide. Yes she apologized to Aneesa, but I have a sinking feeling she would still take Ben back if Ben would have her, even at the cost of hurting Aneesa again. She still seems very selfish and while she’ll apologize (mainly out of fear of being a social pariah) she’s determined not to face the root of her issues (and the pain that comes with it) to experience any real growth.

Ben likes Devi WAY MORE than Paxton ever has. Paxton is soooo half baked with her, with or without the cheating. Ben asked her to be his girlfriend from the start. as of right now, i still think ben & devi are endgame. he and devi still had moments while he was with aneesa, and after their debate project it looked like he was starting to have doubts about being with aneesa. when devi was speaking with her therapist she basically said ben is who is truly desired the entire time which is why she felt she had to find a way to get aneesa to stay. i like paxton and his growth was touching. if she ends up with him, i won’t complain. i just feel like devi and ben make more sense.

Unpopular opinion: Maybe for this season she should have just focused on improving herself before "dating." Paxton: Good character arch but kind of only liked her again because she helped him improve his chances of college admission. Plus, what kind of first date was that? Devi makes him a better man, but how does Devi benefit in this relationship? IF he really cherished her, he wouldn't have been so bothered by what his friends thought or at the end when they walked in been hunched over. Be confident if she is your girl now! Ben: Better fit in my opinion for her because they both help and challenge each other to be better people. Devi still does care for Ben even though she does end up with Paxton at the end. She kept thinking of making things right with him and if she really didn't care she would not have been jealous throughout the show. She only gives up because she doesn't want to hurt Aneesa again. Also, she wanted to choose Ben but her friends talked her out of it and she was so jealous of Ben and Aneesa. Maybe she needs a new love interest altogether in S3 because both Ben and Paxton are kind of toxic in their own ways.

I’m Devi and Paxton all the way! He still likes her after all she did to him, cheated on him and ruined his career. I believe Paxton truly loves her despite all her flaws. I really dislike the way Ben treats Devi when he’s mad at her, that’s a huge red flag. But Paxton moves on and forgives her (that’s what you want in a guy!) It was nice to see an insight into Paxton’s character and see him grow as a person with Devi’s help. Hopefully in season 3 we see their relationship strengthen and Devi getting Nalini to approve her relationship with Paxton. It would also be interesting to see a relationship with Eleanor and Trent and Kamala and the teacher. Bring on Season 3!

I’m conflicted. Ben has been there emotionally for her he’s a rock, this season he was a jerk I get it what she did was wrong but Paxton never did that he showed he’s immature and bitter! Paxton is opposite and sometimes that’s good opposites attract and she believes in him and helps push him to be better. Paxton didn’t bring it up that much he just put up a wall and was up front with out being bitter, probably because he finds emotions hard to express and vulnerable.I found myself rooting for both this season! Further more I feel like her character was leaning towards Ben because they have those similarities and that banter is fire where as Paxton feels more like lustful infatuation. I loved Kamala’s character development! I can’t wait for season 3!

I felt like Ben was a jerk mostly because he knew he was Devi's second choice/default guy. Devi wanted to be with Paxton and only chose Ben because she couldn't have Paxton. I felt like Ben was never really her first choice; it was obvious when she ran after Paxton when they both found out that she was cheating on them. The hurt on Ben's face is him realizing that she cared for Paxton more. Devi would only run back to Ben when Paxton didn't want her or because of some confusion/miscommunication ( like when she realized that Paxton asked her out on a date even though his friends were there. She went on this date and only decided to be Ben's girlfriend after she thought Paxton just wanted to be friends) . Ben had the right to be a jerk. She apologized to Paxton first and helped him first. She tried to get back with him first and only wanted to be with Ben again after Paxton said that they didn't make sense. Devi needs to stay single and work on herself to find out what she wants and who she has feelings for. Switching back and forth means she doesn't know what she wants but Paxton is her first choice.

Ben was hurt not because his love for Devi was stronger than Paxton, Ben was hurt because he was sore about being her 2nd choice. That's all he could care about from the beginning to the end, which was why he could easily fall for Aneesa. As for Devi, she got jealous when her best friends started asking Aneesa for advice instead of her, that Aneesa is more popular than her, that Ben would rather flirt with Aneesa than to talk to her. Her anger made her determined to break Ben & Aneesa up. Were Ben & Devi compatible? Sorry no. Paxton on the other hand is much simpler, he raged because the girl he likes cheated on him, he felt embarrassed to go public with her because it makes him look stupid to still love someone who betrayed him. But as embarrassed as he is, subconsciously he always cared and stood by Devi, his focus is always about her, which is really sweet. To be fair, Paxton has every right to feel embarrassed, and Ben has every right to be sore about not being the first, but what matters the most was - ultimately, who's feelings for Devi was strong enough to trumped over their ego. Ben was hurt mainly because Devi left him behind and he assumed she made him the 2nd choice. Thats the only thing he cared about and he made this point loud and clear from the beginning to the very end. It was just sad that his feelings for Devi was not strong enough for him to overcome it to patch things up with Devi, instead he chose to shut her out of his life and chose Aneesa over Devi. Paxton on the other hand has commitment issues, he has never commit to anyone regardless a nerd or a babe. Be it how upset he was for whatever reason, he got over it within the first half of an episode and they remained friends, the whole forced tutoring thingy lasted less than 15 mins of the ep. And as embarrassed as he was, he remains faithful to Devi and eventually overcome his emotions. =)

Just look at how she interacts with both. She is never sure with Paxton, he doesnt want the same things as her, cares more about his reputation than being with her, used her for good grades and treated her like a slave, got mad at her for not helping him study later as if she wasnt also trying to raise her own grades for PE, and then helping her friend with a serious issue. He got some character growth but it wasnt nearly enough, he just did the bare minimum by showing up at the dance after he embarrased her in front of his friends. Letting people see you in public with someone is not a heroic thing to do, he didnt even like people seeing them as a couple when they were boyfiend and girlfriend. While Ben was all in from the start, then got hurt and didnt want to talk to her, but was still for her when she needed him, he didnt have much screet time this season but you can see how much both care about each other, she clearly wanted to kiss him at the dance before Anessa showed up, because all she did this season was to get Ben back, but she kept going back to Paxton because she doesnt feel good enough, that why she allowed him to keep her in the dark, and it wasnt untill Ben told her that she deserved better than Paxton tha she finally stood up for herself. So for me its Team Ben all the way. I liked Paxton more than i did first season but he still isnt nearly as good as Ben yet

That must have hurt so bad ☹️ even after that he genuinely cared for her. He looked after her when she got cramped at the relay. I think Devi and Ben truly care about each other, they just didn't get the timing right in this season.

I'm sorry but this video didn't do Ben any justice! They didn't show how hurt Ben felt or how much Devi wasn't over him for most of the season. They didn't show how he broke up with Shira and asked Devi to be his girlfriend in the very beginning, the time when Aneesa couldn't make it to work on the debate and he apologized if pda with Aneesa made her uncomfy and she apologized for two-timing him. They even skipped over the part when he almost asked Devi to dance. Paxton's "character development" was just him becoming more of a decent human (actually doing schoolwork on his own, appreciating his grandfather, not being embarrassed of Devi, not being friends with Trent---oh wait that DIDN'T happen).

I like his character a lot, I think it depends a lot on what we bring to the table. To me, Paxton was always there for her. She was attacked, he took her to the hospital; she fell in the pool, he took her home; she cheated on him and he still managed to forgive her and show his relationship in front of everyone. When you have a lot of peer pressure it is easy to just succumb to it, but he changed, mostly for her. I don't think he is a douche at all.

Daxton supporters are going to be disappointed. Every details of the season point out to a Ben and Devi endgame. Devi clearly loves him. She spent almost all the season trying to get back on Ben good side. She stopped trying because she thought she was mature to stop fighting for Ben when he got with Aneesa. I was thinking this, but Season 2’s ending was too big and climatic for Paxton and Devi not to be the endgame. I know Ben was staring at her at the end of the episode, but if season 3 is about the love triangle again it would boring with zero plot development. But there are a lot of Benvi Shipers and if you want the show to succeed, the writers has to keep everyone happy. The love triangle will continue for sure if a Season 3 is announced. And like i said, everything is in place for a Ben and Devi endgame. If you focus on the small pictures, il looks like your idea. In season 2, he helped her realizing she wasn't doing the right thing to get Aneesa forgiveness. He helped her realized that she shouldn't let Paxton get her and decided how their relationship will work(And her father in her dreams too). You can ship Daxton, but you obviously do not see the big picture. And You have the right to think and hope it would happen like you wish (It might happen, we never know) But, more importantly, the show needs Benvi. They would loose a lot of viewers if they decided to focus on Daxton only (And the other way around is true). That's why the door is big open for Ben and Devi, like it was for Daxton at the end of season one. it's marketing. They will go on with this strategy until the end of the series. She’s with paxon now but I think she still has feeling for Ben and if she found out that Ben and anessa broke up then she would want to be with him and I think she was going to ask him for another chance before she found out about them so I think Ben and Davi are endgame. There is a lot of sexual tension between Ben and Devi even in the last episode.I loved Paxton and Devi's chemistry.But Ben is gonna Chase after Devi in S3.Devi still has feelings for Ben.The writers are gonna break Paxton and Aneesa's heart 💔.Its sure that Ben and devi are the endgame in season 3.. So now I don't ship anyone!

They’re gonna draw out this love triangle for as long as they can. Season 3 or 4 will probably present a new love interest/obstacle as well. Though based on the past 2 seasons it seems like they’re setting up for a Bevi endgame

@@Dollz24 Devi might have loved Paxton from the beginning and all, but most people in general don’t always end up with there first loves. Besides there’s also an undeniable chemistry between Devi and Ben as well. But I like both Paxton and Ben. Maybe next season we’ll know for sure who Devi’s endgame is cause season 2 ended with Ben still having strong feelings for Devi. So there’s still hope for Ben and Devi to get back together.

team daxton all the way they are boyfriend and girl friend now we really won team paxton ! i honestly think in season 3 daxton is endgame ! they benefit each other so much and when people aren't there for Devi paxton is the only one who is and also paxton still loved her with all of her flaws and what she did to him . so i would like to see how their relationship would be like i think he would treat her good . also at the end i was so thrilled about paxton and devi and i think ben should get over it because he has a girlfriend anessa . i feel like ben will just be jealous for season 3 he wouldn't actually try something .

Yeah I didn’t get it either, I mean I am definitely team Ben (though I did find daxton cute at the end of S2), but he chose to date Aneesa, so what right does he have to be upset about Devi dancing with and kissing Paxton? He was the one asking her friend out so why should she think he still cares about her? She is allowed to be happy too, and him being with Aneesa didn’t help so of course she turned to Paxton. But I guess that means jealousy on Ben’s side for S3 and probably Bevi endgame, yay, which I’m looking forward to but I just hope that no one get’s hurt anymore like in S2.

To be honest I think Ben needs to work on himself as well, but he can't control his feelings for Devi. I think he may have dated Aneesa because she in some ways reminded him of Devi which is the wrong reason to date someone but he was also very hurt by what Devi did and that caused him to make questionable decisions (kinda like how Devi has been acting out after her dad's death which of course is a bigger thing and may be why she's been acting out more)

Paxton still wanted to be with Devi (private / public) even when he's been hurt by her all along. She used him to elevate her social status and spread rumours about them hooking up, which was absolutely wrong (irrespective of gender) and he never even exposed Devi for those rumours?. Nalini yelling and Paxton and insulting him so much (that scene was just painful please) Getting cheated on (one of the biggest ways to break someone's trust), and knowing he got cheated on in the most embarrassing way and getting run over by a car and loosing his scholarship (Devi even admitted to it “I almost killed the captain of the swim team”). If people could actually spend five minutes thinking about his feelings and his point of view in the relationship. Devi broke his trust multiple times and it came to light in the worst way possible, it wasn't a private thing between them.. it happened publicly. It makes sense why he didn't want to go public with her in the last episode but in the end he realized she was worth it and he went for her.

Devi was obsessed by this idea to having a boyfriend and she projected it on Paxton, the hoy guy. Being with him and having sex with him was like a quest to finally living some romance and passion with a popular guy. But with Ben, it's about a realization. A realization that behind all the bickering with this person during all these years, there was an attraction and a real bond. They both realized that in reality they truly cared about each other. And love is like that, it's something natural, it's never plan, it just something which happen with someone. And the fact that Paxton hit her with his car because he didn't see her is a reflection of how he doesn't see her as a person. He doesn't see her worth, he doesn't realize how great she is but Ben does. So for all these reasons, i'm 100% team Ben !!!
