I’ve been struggling recently with lust and when I sin against God, it’s my own shame that separates me from him. I can physically feel myself turning my face from Him in prayer out of shame. The enemy rejoices in our sin that breaks God’s heart. I’m trying to walk in His grace right now. My advice to everyone is to remove the distractions from your life when you feel separated from Him. It’ll keep you in your shame longer.

After seriously devoting my life to Christ I received the gift of celibacy after explaining to him my problem. I was shocked!!!. My mind doesn’t have thoughts of lust even when looking at women that I used to think attractive. They look like nice people that’s all. I am very thankful to God everyday for that and so much!!

Thank you for sharing this!! It’s true. God doesn’t ever leave us, it’s just the sin makes us feel the distance, it’s not God turning away. Running to the father even when you mess up is available and when we receive his love, we get filled up with more strength to push through! I keep faith I will not lose hope even as I struggle as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs children. They require so much from me yet I know I AM BLESSED to be their mother. Lord Jesus give me strength as I struggle providing the basic necessities like clothing and groceries. Spot on. God has made so much of this clear to me. I kept smiling as you’d mention some truth from a verse I had just learned. I want to look into the consequences of sin you laid out. I have started to discover that sin rarely if never appears as one single sin, but many that lead up to the one you notice, or a big one that breeds others as a by product. Gal 6:7-8 “7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

Your words are so kind. I have been struggling with lust (ie solitary), and I'm constantly worried that I might miss the Rapture and watch NYC get nuked afterwards as WW3 escalates and miss my mother as we are all shell-shocked, if I end up lusting-out and the Rapture happens. Also I've seen a number of youtube videos and other people saying that you could lose your salvation and end up in hell. You seem to be very convinced you can't lose your salvation. I guess the people with the NDEs that talk about 99% of Christians going to hell must be having a mass lying spirit that is confusing the minds of people then. It makes me feel like I am playing a game of Russian Roulette every day when I watch those videos. But this is much more reassuring. Would I still get Raptured to if I'm not delivered from this sin on time?

I suppose it is interesting that as a non-believer I recognize flaws in our human nature where our feelings can lead us astray if left unchecked by our intelligence. It seems I have similar experiences when I eat healthy, exercise, correct bad habits, get plenty of sleep, avoid unnecessary worry, etc. that I feel pretty good. This has me wondering if religious experiences are just this with the addition of religious belief? If our thoughts produce our feelings, how would one know the difference between God or the thoughts of God working to produce our feelings?

Oh I first commented before watching , your words are very meaningful and useful. That'd be good,great,amazing ,if that was the truth and it never been told me otherwise . A jewish told me that I am idolater and I do sexual immorality and if I keep doing it I won't have my name written in the book of life .I don't even do sexual imorality the real way I just 'see things', when people provoke me,and that's already sin. If I don't stop I'll lose salvation. Well,I prefer expect the worse scenario is the truth and avoid all that wrong stuff and sin even though its sad. I just hope all those people doing idolatry and sexual imorality which is alot in the world also gets saved . But I won't do anything even though I want to .

The only way to not sin (obedience) is to prevent it ever being in your heart by becoming righteous. You cant reap righteousness until you know how to sow the light. Willful sin only separates you from a blessed life with God, not from God or salvation as there's nothing you can do to lose your salvation. Salvation is a gift, it's free, if we could have it taken away even if we never want to live a life for God then it wouldn't be a gift or even eternal, that would be temporary life. Repentance for salvation is turning from trusting in yourself and your works and instead to faith in Jesus Christ, not repenting from sin. If you believe you have to repent every time you wrong to maintain your salvation you're a fool and going to hell, you repent to be forgiven in this life only. The gospel is simple and clear, don't muddy the waters with works salvation, the only thing one must do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm going to be in heaven with Samson and King Saul who both killed themselves (and couldn't repent of that act after they did it), because they actually understood salvation was a free gift by faith alone in Christ.

The bible talk about self control as well. Also if you are addicted to sexual sins before you get married exemple watching porno and masturbating, marriage is not a solution to that. You need to work on it with the Lord and cust it under the cross before getting married, otherwise, you will continue repeating the same sins even while you are married. If you think that all women have to get married so men can stop to fall in lust, do you know that men lust even on married women? - others young girls are growing up as well even if others have to getting married as you think, Practicing self control is the key instead dear.

In order to have everlasting life you absolutely must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation 💞 this means that saving repentance is turning from unbelief to belief. You either believe that Jesus paid your sin debt in full or you don't. Just wanted to be absolutely clear here. *Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.* A changed life is not automatic that takes complete cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

My only problem with sin, is how do you know your sinning. what is the definition of sin. can it be bad for you and not others? I read a book couples years ago it said the Hebrew translation for sin was ''missed the target''. but we learn from sin, what if I miss the target intentionally to understand and relate to others? is that sinful. I'm only 3mins in the videos, I will watch the whole video now, but I just wanted to comment, Sinning is open to interpretation, I've been to jail. but I don't think it was sin that brought me there. I learned a lot from others and furthered my understanding.
