I am 60 years of age, and came to Christ in 1995, my encounter with Christ was extraordinary, and I found myself alone and lonely. For near 30 years I have drawn closer and closer to the Lord, in 2012 he revisited my life in a radical encounter that called me to absolute surrender. This has brought a wilderness experience that has truly reshaped my world, if you desire Christ and to live a life denied of self, it will cost you friends, it will cost you family, it will cost you everything to follow him, yet there is never any inclination within me to ever go back to having life as it was, he is my delight

I have lost friends and struggled with my brother who is a militant atheist but as my Lords steadfast love for me endures forever I will never stop trying to pass it on to others who need it as I realized when He came into my life how much I needed it.

Being "Lonely" is not about not having any one around you, it's more about being surrounded by people yet no one understands or gets you because they are not pursuing Him like you are. To pursue Him with all you have will cost you everyone and everyone around you if they don't pursue with you. Great video.

Loneliness is a mind set . When God is with you , you are never lonely . I for one don’t like people, they mostly let you down but God never lets you down . I have learned in life that unless you have something others need you are pretty much alone which is liberating . Surround yourself with the things that make you happy you don’t need people . I bought a motorcycle and when i ride i see the splendid world that God created . I take a camera and photograph these things and i feel blessed but the best part is when i ride i talk to God and it is very freeing .

Sometimes the idea of Jesus having a relationship with us is first shattered when we are slowly or abruptly removed from the majority of our relationships. I've been a Christian since the age of 6. During my school years, I tried to stay on the narrow road. Looking back, I think I did. It was very lonely because I didn't have any friends. No secular friends because they hated me because I'm a Christian and some other issues they took with me. No Christian friends, because I didn't fit their "social culture". Now days I'm still lonely because I don't fit the Christian social culture. But I have Jesus in my life, and I pray to him everyday. I am in the word everyday, and do other Christian things privately. I talk about my faith anytime I get.

I tried to remain chaste in my relationship life. It cost me as I went "0-5" in the potential wife department and now single with no chance for family. I live alone and it is difficult. Recently just got out of a 6 month faith based rehab and I've been out a month. The temptation for relapse has been intense but I'm almost 7 months sober by the grace of God. I really relate to what you said about taking the step of faith to start this channel when you were going through an intense sadness. Back in March, I too faced the most difficult event of my life and it drove me to create Christian youtube content on another channel. Creating those videos has really provided me an opportunity to examine myself and what God is teaching me while also sharing those things with others who may need it. Our church turned woke, taught & behaved completely unscriptualy, It was a gradual shift & the spirit behind it was obvious yet the institutionalsied church refused to accept that worldy dogma & ideology is not Gods..... so it seeped in unabated. Ultimately, i took my family (kicking & screaming) away from the church & churched at home for almost 1yr, to recover from the absolute spiritual abuse were suffered by pouring into the word. It didn't take long after we left though, before the family understood what i knew to be true & supported me. The narcissistic people who still remained in that church started major smear campaigns, which eventually fell apart but while in the iddle of it all.... my gosh, we suffered alone! Ultimately, we found a bible reading church where the anointing upon it is heavy & now, refreshed, we are moving forward. Surrounded by good God fearing, bible reading & doing people... Our God is good & looks after every single one of us!

Gabby, thank you for being obedient to the Spirit and continuing to share your thoughts. I am praying for you! Following Him can feel lonely at times. And when you are creating wonderful Spirit-Filled content like this, I have no doubt you have been met with lots of resistance. But I am reminded of the scripture, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them”. Suffering is unique in everyone’s specific situation. And ‘counting it all joy’ can be easier said than done. But you keep fighting girl. We love you! There is a whole community of believers that support you! There is God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and His angel army with you… there are way more of us! I can relate with your suffering as I have taken a step of faith this year toward my calling and have been met with lots of resistance too. Through all this, God has taught me to trust Him. If I had to summarize this year, I would say broken… and thankfully healed and currently being re-built with my new identity in Him. And while being broken is not fun, “for no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful”, I pray that God uses all of our suffering for our good and His glory.

Lonely is when no body will be in your company. I find it hard to believe that you don’t have things to do. Maybe you decline an invitation. That’s not lonely. Lonely is without an invitation. Without a companion. Without a group. Without a friend. I have a brother and my parents but I don’t feel lonely and I can’t remember last time I did. Even my Dad after 1 day said he was lonely and I was very bothered by this. I’ve been alone for 5 years and I’m not lonely at all. In fact I’m content with who I am and where I’m going. Very powerful video, and thank you for your honesty, I've been on this journey now 23 years, after my Divorce, I left the USA, went to Spain, my birth country, only to discover how Godless the country and the church has become, now living in the UK, still dealing with loneliness due to the church become more woke on a daily basis. So much off my day is spent reading my Bible, and watching KZbin videos off Godly people like yourself. God bless you and your family.

I’m glad you obeyed. God is so true- there’s an important reason why your ministry is needed. I recently became more lonely. I have been blessed with a small but gracious and steady group of long term friends. The Lord, I know helped me grow/cultivate in the group over years. In the last 3-4 years someone I met who represented herself as in a very compassionate profession - I invited to meet us and share activities with us-became vicious toward me in particular. Although she’d act as caring and Christian, this awful feeling around her was more evident especially when she’d lash out at me. I distanced myself from her and explained my reasons to 1 or 2 friends in the original group. But she was able to wind herself into their confidence. I tried at least 3 times to forgive and re-engage with her over the recent years. Finally, I closed off from her as silently as possible. I fear she will hurt my friends too. Anyway, this is long. But I relate to your message. I’m not a young person, but I’m still learning. c God has been faithful through it all. God bless you. Your message fills a a big void these days!!

I was lonely as a young Christian and ended up married into an unequally-yoked marriage. It lasted 24 years but eventually the rift was opened up further and further until she disowned God and left me for the woke culture. DON"T get married unless you are in complete agreement with a potential spouse and know that it is God's will. I was at fault. Father is a redeemer but you will suffer the consequences of your decisions. I am now content and need nothing but Jesus and His glorious Kingdom and family of believers.

Thanks for your thoughts. It touched me a lot, because as an adult convert I constantly experience how Jesus accompanies me on my way and transforms my life. He brought me out of great darkness into the light, freed me from bad company, addictions and self-destruction. Since then, I have been asking Him that, like you, I too confess Him with faith and lead to Him all those who are still looking for the Savior. Small groups with fellow believers have helped me with my loneliness. We dont need romance, but we do need relationships. Isolation stunts our growth and can tamper the fire of faith within.

@Aviole You find healthy relationships in small groups, you find these people in Churches. Get plugged into a local Church that does small groups, like Celebrate Recovery. You won't regret it. We are not meant to do this life alone. I've learned that we thrive in relationship with one another. God bless you friend!
