I luckily bumped into Evgeny at a Slaughter show in 2019 at Reverb in Reading PA. He was super nice and chill but his English wasn’t very good so when I was telling him he was one of my favorite modern metal drummers he pointed to a shirt hanging on their merch rack and said in his best English “I am drum machine” and the shirt he pointed to was half of his face with the same saying on it. It was FUCKING awesome

@@mathias841 No. Alex has described this many times on his KZbin and Instagram. When he was younger, he was associated with these groups because that was his environment when he was young and poor and didn't know any better. Since then he's changed his views drastically. Maybe that's bullshit but from watching him on socials over the past several years, it seems to be a truth.

Fuck yes!! this video is absolutely amazing!! I am in the US and I have not heard of them before, but now slaughter to prevail is one of, if not my new favorite band! The more I listen to them, and the more I learn about them the more I like them. Thank you for sharing this! keep sharing more 🤘🏻🍻

i actually saw StP live on the 1st of Feb, it was an absolute blast. i’d argue that they’re as good performing live as recorded

I'm back here at two weeks' passed and still cracking up at your commentary - Heel-Toe the King!!! ...in all its glory with no mods is omnipresent and I should do it all day. Need longer pedals and to go barefoot again. I guess that's the point, said the drunken pencil. He was a little tip, see... Whoah. I am becoming faster, myself, having seen so many of these videos. Think it and u can do it, y'all! Maybe not like THIS, but...better.

Remembering lyrics is one challenge. Remembering every hit with a drum stick and repeating it show after show....that's a whole nother level.
