DUDE!!!!! this is hitting me so fucking hard right now, in the best way possible. I’m 53 years old and have had some amazing growth experiences but this nails like a bullseye my lifelong struggle with depression and anxiety and low energy. I’d like to add that this PESTILENCE you so Brilliantly speak of, I’ve had a lifetime of it. So now I’m ready to start CONVERTING but I have a lifetime of pestilence to convert. Such life long deep patterns of stagnation. By the way I first saw this video a year ago when I randomly searched “idle hands” on YT. And it made total sense when I first watched it. And I’ve had a good amount of growth even since last year but I’ve fallen back into a funk lately and this video came to mind. I wanted to listen to it again but it was so deep in history that it took me an hour to find and I’m so glad I did. And now I have my own playlist with your name on it. THANK YOU!

Enlightened fella; sums up my mood perfectly Geoff. I exercise fairly regularly & feel better for it. I noticed if I miss going out, I feel this overwhelming sense of frustration with my life & other's around me, simply because I feel unfulfilled. The rolling stone feeling of rootlessness sometimes can be intoxicating, and unhealthy. Love suffers as a result. At least for me. No TLC, makes Jack a dull individual.

I agree about road rage being stagnant energy. Also boy racers, football hooligans etc. Male energy is surpressed. We should be out in the wild with our senses being stimulated. Instead, sat in an office tapping a keyboard drinking redbull staring at the clock

Interesting..... I do take in energy in the form of information which I pursue for myself which does take an unbelievable amount of energy toward the acquisition of my own pursued knowledge or understanding, often what I learn overwhelmingly produces more energy that I take in, than the act of my research takes out of me. Which is a much more darker energy because of its principle nature of being a negative one. I intentionally struggle with ways to inform others in a positive and genuine way but often become dismissed easily. I guess that negative energy that I fail to project in a positive way rots away inside me because I have no real outlet to purge from...... Hence me being so cynical for the past couple of years! Which is totally opposite of the happy go lucky person I was previously. Still am. Just a lot less! And a lot more cynical! I already self reflect more than I ever thought I would ever do! I think this would be a great addition to my process of self reflection! Sincerely grateful!

Hello Master Geoff......i am Animesh from India.....i need your suggestion regarding my training......you have suggested learning western boxing previously for self defense.....but i don't have a gym near which teaches boxing.....rather i have gyms that teaches savate & kickboxing nearby......so wil any one of them be appropriate for self defense?

+Animesh Ghosh Brother , please allow me to offer some advise. You want to feel safe walking around town all you need to do is ..GET FIT Running, push ups, sit ups . LEARN TO PUNCH AND MOVE. you only need to jab, cross and move. When you get fit and confident you probably will not have to fight. Potential bullies will see, sense that you are ready to fight and bullies don't want none of that. Keep it simple chap.

I am a lazy fuck to be honest my hands are often idle. But my great shame is an idle mind, becouse when it is I my mind is idle it may as well be swimming against current. Huge swaths of my life I have given to idle mind and my sinking depression lost and in need of flotsam and jetsam ( pause for much laughter). And I pray it will never return it is my eternal suicide from which I am humbled in spotless darkness, and light escapes as the waters are in escape of air. I pry all find their reprieve it a ceaseless night that no one should find it their crux, but to find light awaits it is a long road to Demarcus or personal destinations. But I wish my fellow travelers well and to its pit none return, perhaps tomorrow all hopes be forgotten again, but may those tommarows remain far in ones horizons.
