Great watch with a great case and bracelet design. Could be the perfect GADA watch. But i feel the same, for the price it would be nice to have a scratch resistance coating and an on the fly adjustment system on the clasp. Great review Toni, as always 📸⌚️🤘😎

Totally agree with your last comment. I really like the design but to compete with those other brands you mentioned it does need those things as well as good lume for the asking price. Being outside the USA sadly its a pass from me

Over all the watch looks good, but lume is pretty weak as you say. First time I seen this brand. It seems very one is making a microbrand watch now, do you think that will flood the market?

Featuring brands few have heard of is the main motivation for this channel, and I hope you'll return for more reviews! As for a perceived abundance of newcomers, Orion is, by microbrand standards, already established. Unfortunately many projects will not make it, as competition is fierce, but those that survive prove themselves to be worthy alternatives to the mainstream.

Orion made a great watch. This is far more interesting than the watch preceding it, although perhaps especially so in the moody MoP, which really suits the concept. That is especially apparent for me in the convexly scalloped waves of the bracelet. It just gels well with that MoP dial. I'm sure this watch is very good quality as it looks tightly constructed and ultimately quite inspired in its design whilst knowing to stop introducing originality that would alienate from the GADA appeal. For me that means perhaps that the watch still could assert even more identity, because personally I quite like that, but this is certainly a palatable compromise. Beyond that, I sinoly have to agree with your astute observations. The biggest design flaw I can point out are the undersized and underarticulated hour markers. The chapter ring is overpowering them unnecessarily and actually, so do the hands. That proportion is just slightly off and they shoudl be made more prominent in my opinion. I also concur that while these specs are truly essential, the Sylph fails to be as competitive as it could be by lewving out on the fly adjust and a hardenjng coating. Both elements suits this genre and the sportier presentation of this model. The question is whether sacrificing these bits of margin would lead to the necessary volume of customers to make up for it.

Thank you, Benjamin! The shared observations we have on this design make me actually prefer the Hellcat you're not so keen on, as I find its dial more balanced. As for the missing features I pointed out, there are two ways of looking at them: keep the watch as is, but slash some of its price or keep the price and add in the features that watches at same price point share.
