Dude, I love these guys. They should be bigger. There is something very special about them and how they make u feel like you are just hanging out with them. Mainly due to the fact that they both look into the camera like they are talking to a freind. This sounds sad. I need friends. Haha

I got to hang out with William Forsythe a couple years ago at a convention. It was just me and him outside smoking cigarettes for like an hour straight. Dude is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life and he told me all about the behind the scenes of this movie

I esp love that scent during Free Bird when Otis looks up to the sky right when the lyrics go, The Lord knows I can't change, Lord, help me, I can't change. Almost makes you sympathize with him. Almost.

OF COURSE! Rob's masterpiece! I love EVERYTHING about The Devil's Rejects! The cast, tone, music, directing, everything was done perfectly! I like how there's no real heroes in this story, every character here is a shitty person. At the end of the day, who are you rooting for? The police officer or serial killers? That's up to YOU to decide! Not many films do that, where it's up to the audience to decide whose the real victim. Free Bird was a great send off to the end. One of the best endings to a film I have ever seen too! Despite what you might think of Rob Zombie, I HIGHLY recommend The Devil's Rejects too! It's another great love letter to horror films and trashy horror films! If you're a horror fan, DON'T miss out on THIS ONE!

Yeah that ending is one of the best ones, for me it was an unsuspected emotional kick! I was not happy specifically for them to get killed but i felt like the characters souls almost did a sigh of relief that finally the hellish life they been living will come to an end....as no one is born evil really but life can mold you into something horrible and when its almost time to die, when the end point is visible it is something they launch themselves at.....and this films ending showed this perfectly.

Another great review. Not a Rob Zombie fan, his direction for a sequel was not only good but bold. Transitioning antagonists, from first film who were Villians to protagonist roles was unique. While the antagonist Wydell despite having sympathetic and undesirable motivation, just much of a monster but with a badge. Though understand while it may to bleak for some people, and have no investment in the conflict as they feel there's no side to root for. Even the potential heroes (Adam and his band) are killed. Though two villians in conflict formula, if executed can make of an engaging narrative.

@joshuawilliams77342 ай бұрын
I'm happy to announce I watched this film on DVD and I really didn't like it I thought the characters were lacking in any kind of re-deemable qualities the dialogue is like the sort of things I wrote when I was a teenager and nothing really made me want to go back and rewatch it. But then everyone in the horror community spoke of how they have seen this film and how they love it and they love Otis, Baby and Cap Spaulding and I thought to myself really and I went back and rewatched House of 100 corpses and I rewatched Rejects straight after and I felt a tremendous outrage for people who quote LOVE these characters and I thought what do you love about them the fact that they are murderers and one person said to me well its not reality so I can pretty much watch and not feel bad and I thought to myself how can anyone watch this and feel relaxed and I will always ask any kind of storyteller it doesn't matter if you make characters unlikeable or even downright evil but you have to make me care somewhat but this film the firefly family have two scenes where these characters are alone and bonding and both times the pretentious dialogue ran like a migraine through my head and the only character I felt had any any real motivity or reason to care was the sheriff character. He was bloody crazy too but I felt like Rob zombie made me care about something it just wasn't in the direction he probably wanted to go. Just good old-fashioned revenge Long story short I hated this film HATED, HATED, HATED this film I HATED the story, I HATED the characters and I HATED the man who brought this film to my attention I know people often consider this guy I punk rock icon and a horror legend or whatever but all I see is an immature little boy of a man who keeps on making films and it isn't in these films that I find he leaves me feeling empty was when I watched the Rob Zombie Halloween films I felt nothing for Michael either Try harder Rob Zombie when I was studying storytelling my teacher always said to me try harder even when making your characters unlikeable to give me something to make me care and at least where the firefly family are concerned they gave me nothing and I'm okay with nothing but what do you all think

Even better: Captain Spaulding dream scene in the beginning..woman asks: "Got a bad dream?" Sid Haig: "ah 50/50" was brilliant..first it was great and then I got shot and I wake up...haha..he steals the shwo in the entire movie with this kind of logic

So Very fricken happy to see you guys review this movie after the first one… it is one of my all time Fave movies, but that’s only because I know House of 1000 corpses so well… I don’t think anyone who watches it without seeing the first flick would enjoy it too much…. But thankfully I was a Rob Zombie fan back in the day so I was Going to watch his movie and then the sequel came out and I was blown away… both very different movies But both awesome and amazing… just the sequel is a fricken lot better and enjoyable……BUT only because I loved the first movie…. I wish everyone could experience watching this movie for the first time with no spoilers.. but if they haven’t seen House 1000, then I’d doubt they’d like it, which is a shame…

This is zombie best film easily and the reason why is because it's the only movie he's made that has anything real to say. This film is more a 70s vigilante cop vs criminals movie the only horror movie type scene is the hotel scene. This film does a good job doing a social commentary on violence and how anyone can be a victim including the killers and how revenge and obsession can turn a good cop into a psycho just like the killers. All this is why this is Zombies best film as it isnt just more 70s torture porn again these characters peak here and there was no reason for a 3rd one as there wasn't anything left to say with these characters. If anything Zombie should have just done a Dr.Satan spin off but there was no reason for a direct sequel to Devil's Rejects.
