I think of some of the reflections by Padre Pio and others as they would describe their Guardian Angels, these 15 foot angelic beings, protectiing them, and we not only have that, but we have Christ, through whom ALL things are made also there defending us, if we ask and trust. Who are we to fear?

Our angels truly serve and protect us Psalm 91:11-12: God commands angels to protect people and guard them in all their ways. Hebrews 1:13-14: Angels are servants who minister to those who will inherit salvation. Daniel 10:13: Angels seem to be assigned to certain countries. Also Padre Pio prayed the sacred heart of Jesus Novena every day and kept his rosary beads underneath his pillow. What an inspiration he was!

I will strengthen you. I will help you." I've been going for regular mass, attending confession. I'm finding strength in the sacraments. The Holy Rosary. I encourage you to dare to believe in this God we serve. He is faithful and will never leave you even if everyone else does. He is True Love

Please contact a suicide phone line if it gets continuous...the thoughts...I suffer from suicidal thoughts....go to have an assessment too...a psychiatrist..just in case it's depression.. sometimes it's just the circumstances getting on top of you especially if you have no-one to have a heart to heart with. Confide in...religious faith doesn't cure this...I'm 52 now..I can tell you this...I had these issues from 19 years old. Need to talk it out....in Ireland...Pieta house help although it's your decision what to do. Once you understand that. Doctor told me years ago..no one can stop me doing it if I was determined. .Avail of good professional help if this is continuous .not general counselling... psychologist or psychiatrist. Take care❤

Dear Fe, remember the dark always precedes the light. Many times the evil one sees the holy angels about to bring great blessings to a person especially the great gift of faith and salvation (I think your name means “Faith!”) and temporal blessings and so the evil one sends his minions to discourage and attack the person just before the spiritual and temporal breakthrough. So…learn how to pray the rosary and pray it daily along with the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. If you are a baptized Catholic, go to confession. I will pray for you. You can make it. Jesus loves you and will see you through. “Never ever ever give up!” as Winston Churchill told his people during the bombing of Britain.

I love that analogy of being in prison, and not walking out even after God has broken the chains and opened the door....I mean, not being and staying in prison.....but taking the initiative to take advantage of the gifts God gives.. Today Lord, I'm going to put on my armor on, and let Jesus' thinking be my thinking, and be transformed by the renewing of my mind.....I'm doing it! I'm gettin' movin'! Oh my gosh, Fr., I literally just said out loud to no one, "the evil that has taken over everything needs to be stopped", and then as if answering my own statement, I added "this is why people get discouraged, because they see the evil and no one and nothing is stopping it." At what point as a believer in Christ, who accepts Christ as my Lord & Savior, do I actively do something to stop the horror all around us, and if I am to do something, what IS it? I keep asking these questions and I have no answers. I know He sees all, every good thing and every terrible thing, but I can't imagine He expects us to be passive about this. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I had five miscarriages, and then prayed the rosary everyday, with reverance and contemplating on the mysteries, praying for a baby. That was many years ago, and three children later, I still have a devotion to the rosary. The road wasn't easy, and surgery was needed, yet I was blessed to conceive a while later after the surgery and the rest is history. I believed when I was reciting the rosary that I would one day have children, keep believing and praying, and may God bless you 🙏💖

God bless you for sharing this. The devil had me convinced for such a long time that I was a lost cause, and thus, worthy of punishment exclusively. Therefore, everything I took for myself was out of greed rather than gratitude.
