Loved your review about the DWE575SB saw; you are the first person I’ve seen to ever fully explain about a circular saw. I will definitely buy this saw, as I’m a fan of DeWalt tools. Thanks so much I give you all 5 stars.

I have a version of this saw. Probably 10 years old. Love the electric brake, really strong and durable. Great visibility for a right handed saw. Absolutely love it. Best circular saw I’ve ever owned. I use it all the time for work.

Man, I am so close to pulling the trigger on this. I'm just a hobbyist/homeowner, but I'm done messing around with $50 saws. I handled this at Lowe's and the step up in build quality is a obvious. Tight, whereas the $50 Porter Cable I have has too much slop for my tastes. I LOVE the 57 degree bevel capacity, and the bracket thingie that pops up to give you more fine adjustment. This video has convinced me!

Thanks for the video! I was going crazy trying to research circular saws. I bought the DWE575 yesterday thinking it was this exact saw but I was able to get it for $80 at Northern tool. It was on sale for 99.99 and I had a $20 off coupon.

good video alot of useful information. i have this circular saw and im real happy with it. i thought about the flexvolt at first but im just a d.i.y,er and a corded one worked just fine for me. i think the flexvolt would be good for someone who does alot of cutting. this saw is powerful and cuts really well. i recommend it.

Good video. Just ordered this for my son for Christmas. As a retired journeyman carpenter, I've used versions of this saw all the way back to the early 70's when they were B&D Sawcats. I'd suggest that the best blade for a 7 1/4 saw is a 24 tooth (the red one) - in a sharp state it will give you a very fine cut; a 40 tooth would be the max, and really that's just for cross cutting, it wouldn't rip very well at all. And a 60 tooth? You'll find it doesn't cut much of anything except maybe picture frames.

great review, subscribed. i bought a rear pivot dewalt years ago (love it) and the electric brake required about 20 minutes break-in-which i had no desire to do. that's a lot of excessive wear in my mind and an electric brake is not on my most wanted list. i had another lightweight dewalt but can't find it-probably stolen--it had a good line of sight--hope this one does too....

I am a female nurse. I just got one of this saw from home depot. The wrench is black colour. I am ready for my little deck and hard wood floor next weekend! Nice tool, I think I am going to love. I am going to return my giant dewalt table saw to CT. I dare not to operate that giant table saw. I think circular saw will do the cutting job for my hard wood flooring and small deck. Thank you for the review! It is very helpful.

I wasn’t even looking for a dewalt sAw. I was in the market for a lightweight saw with brake and dust blower so this one is defiantly one I’m considering now and it’s currently on sale.

Good review. Just bought it. I do have one tip, you do not have hold the blade cover back when changing the blade, the angled side of the wrench allows you to remove the bolt from the top side rather than the bottom as you have done.

I'm a DIY & I have a handyman service. The reason I prefer a corded saw over a battery has to do with three things. (1) the corded saws are generally stronger in power. (2) corded saws are generally made better. (3) corded saws last longer. If I'm going to spend my money on a tool I want it built like a tank. It takes hardly any effort to set up and work off a 100 foot cord. It isn't a big deal to me. I looked at all the saws at home Depot and Lowe's and first decided on the Milwaukee because of the great reviews. However, I didn't want to spend 130$. Next I looked at the skilsaw. The southpaw to be exact. However, Lowe's nor home Depot had them in stock and I ate ordering. I looked at the Bosch but the plastic tabs were a deal breaker for me. The Makita was nice but too much plastic as well. Anyway, I neglected to look at the DeWalt saw until today and when I picked it up I knew it was what I wanted. DeWalt just doesn't fail guys. They make awesome tools. They impress me time and again.

I have the cordless version for the times I want just a quick cut here or there. But when it comes to an all day workout, The Mag 7 Skillsaw is my choice. I put a 50' cord on mine in yellow as i hate to drag that plug connection through the jobsite as it gets caught on everything

5200 RPM only? The industry standard is 5800 RPM. Aluminum base? Make sure you don't drop your saw because it will get bent. A magnesium base won't.
@interman77153 жыл бұрын
You can bend aluminum back straight, if you drop magnesium it's fucked.
@S_Bellew3 жыл бұрын
@@interman7715 Good luck getting your aluminum straight! If you drop magnesium... nothing happens. Well, may be a scratch.There is a reason why magnesium is used as a material of choice for high end gear.

I am disappointed in DeWalt tools now becauseI bought it from Amazon last November, stored it for later use, 2 days ago used it for the first time and now it's sparking full time abnormally, contacted DeWalt...they gave me my countries support link. Now waiting for their response from 2 days.

this saw was good in the days, i think first versiones are around for decades i bought it, but i wouldnt buy it again. weak shoe adjusting angle and depth is a nightmare comparism to others, especialy when its a bit older you are better off in other brands dont understand whats so hipp here, why its called a in depth revue. no tests, no comparism to other saws, no precision angle or depth cuts and so on ... and so on and what is so wonderful that it comes in a bag... dont believe it
@guillaumepare96516 күн бұрын
Funny because I'm shopping for one and was saying that to myself: "seems old tech". What would you recommend as of today? I know Makita is well regarded but at that price point it's a 5007 variant and it's also old stuff.

Last saw I’ll ever buy hahaha I gotta buy a new one every 3 years literally always after the warranty is up. A great saw, I just put the poor saw through hell everyday and it will burn up eventually and the brake wears out quickly

A circular saw without an electric brake is dangerous…. 😂🤣 An unskilled & untrained operator is what makes any circular saw dangerous!
@sawmaster60954 жыл бұрын
I hate electric brakes, they give a false sense of safety, burn through brushes, and burn out your armature. This saw doesn't compare some of the older made-in-USA Porter Cable and Skil saws. Sucks that pretty much all circular saws today are total pieces of shit
@edreed55713 жыл бұрын
Good for you
@joeframer96426 жыл бұрын
I’m a framer, why would you buy an electric saw when the 575 Flexvolt is more powerful and cordless...? Also use diablo tracking point framing blades, much better then the Dewalts....I have all Dewalt tools ,most cordless I’d never use cords again...plus the new 577 rear handle Dewalt is the most powerful saw period...
@devatwell3346 жыл бұрын
My opinion all new tools are weak and fragile. Made of magnesium or aluminum if you drop them they are bent or broke. Especially the Dewalts.
@Strawbs19626 жыл бұрын
You'd buy a corded because you may be a DIY'er and only use it occasionally! The last thing you want is the battery being deeply discharged because you haven't used it for a year and it won't then hold a charge of any significance. Having a corded saw eliminates that possibility. So now you know, you can stop asking.
