Tried to look into this and do agree why this doesn't display the target latency of 0.125 ms, at the end of the day high polling rate on a wireless mice is not really something to look into as many of the benefits will not be felt by the majority of people and the higher battery life on 1k polling is worth it more then going for 8k polling.
