I switched from a viper v3 pro to the dex and this is so much better…battery life and shape feels nice

@@VaticanTop aside from the shape, how do you like the switches, side buttons, and skates? I really didn’t like them at all but like most things there is preference in it.

It has to be a straight on the right side, like on the G 703. This helps aiming, since the 2 fingers have a line to adjut the mouse turn. To feel the direction of a mouse, with 2 fingers, on a curve, will add more source of failiure. On the other side, it is just the thumb, so it doesn't matter. But the indentation feels better of course. Also sadly the mouse spins out a lot. I am using a glass pad. The mouse feels better than Superlight 2, but spin offs, and shape on the right, could be improved.
@DjTinnio2 ай бұрын
Oh and the mouse buttons 1 and 2 could be more indented like on the G 703 as well, because this helps moving the mouse sideways while spamming a trigger rhythm for example.

Ive tried around 10 different high end from razor, lamzu, BenQ, endgame gear, mice for palm grip. I have a wrist injury from claw grip and had to take a year off gaming basically. With 19.5 cm X 10cm hands the DEX and the Pulsar V3 size 2 are the only ones who dont hurt my wrist. Not having wrist pain is kind of a miracle for me. I chose the DEX because over Pulsar because its arch is slightly more supportive... Almost intrusive by a millimeter as i switch between claw and palm. I know i have a mouse in my hand. The pulsar V3 dissapears when i hold it how perfectly my hand relaxes especially my ring finger it has more rounded edges vs dex. But in the end with my injury i think i need that extra arch aupport. Otherwise the Pulsar is a better mouse... AT HALF THE PRICE.. LONGITECH DEX is a real ass move.

I'm currently an enormous advocate for the wireless Corsair M55. Due to my lifestyle, the perfect gaming mouse for *_me_* has batteries because, let's just say I have many limitations, one obvious one being the 2 measly USB ports my poor old dying laptop possesses, that and severe insomnia which means "Just charge it when you go to bed" is simply much harder for me than for others. I will pick the 2-second battery swap time of a battery mouse over the 2-hour charge time of any rechargeable mouse any day of the week. I bought a G502X and was loving it to bits only 1 month before the Corsair was released. Now I just wanna give my G502X away. I really hope more manufacturers can consider making higher-end battery mice. The Superlight DEX is extremely tempting to me, so much so that I was wondering if I'd be willing to sacrifice my love of battery-swappable mice. Thank you SO much for this review, especially what you pointed out. One of my biggest pet peeves for gaming mice are mushy side buttons. Not to say the Corsair's are amazing, they're not at all bad either, but I want to swap its switches one day, and as you pointed out, IMHO *_all of_* Logitech's Superlight series feel *_ridiculously_* overpriced. The price of the G502X makes sense. Like, I can see and feel and use the features I'm paying for. With the Superlight series it's like I'm just paying over a hundred bucks for... a little bit less plastic. You just saved me over a hundred bucks so buy yourself a beer, consider it an I.O.U., and I'll pay for it if we ever meet one day.

I did use G700S for like maybe 7 years. That mouse did feel great. I was trying some new logitech mouses and the only thing i did feel is plastic. I belive the only thing they caure about is how light those are. Well i prefer quality and comfort and for that price is just worth it.

"hopefully someday we can see a revision of this product" Indeed. Revisions are not Logitech's strong suit though. It's too bad, if this was a banger, I'd have ordered it already.

honestly : great mouse, sensor is great, ny shots hit nicely, tracking got easier, very satisfying scroll and clicks, flicking is nice, i play with a lot mouse acceleration and 8000hz gives a lot more detail - for example (so that people wont say its aim placebo) I improved my jumping in cs. - the technique is called strafing in air, and its a about syncing your mouse with your key presses (a,mouse left; d, mouse right) and the more accurate u are at it the better. I have gotten way more consistent. Shape : its great for palm grip very very comfortable at least for me Skates : well i think i gotta buy a new mousepad maybe a one with more control for cs
@Ejziponken13 ай бұрын
I agree with pretty much everything. Shape is good. Clicks are hollow. Side buttons are spongy and they are placed way too high up. Also, they have post-travel. I much prefer clicks on my Viper V3 pro. They are not in the same league. Stock skates are probably the worst skates I ever tried in the last 10 years. I didn't have the sensor issues, but I don't play with glass pads. But had an issue where my right click spams in game. Like If I click once to zoom in when playing Ana in OW2, it spams it so it zoom in and out really fast multiple times. I can even hold it down, and it keeps going in and out ultra-fast. This seems to only happen in wireless because if I connect the cable mid-game, the issue goes away instantly.. And I haven't noticed the issue in Windows, browser or discord or whatever apps. This was my first Logitech mouse since the 703, and I can tell you, it will be my last. Maybe I try one in the next decade again. Logitech are just lazy now. Also, the software is terrible. Like the profiles and game profiles and how you link them is just terrible. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss Synapse (the beta). Oh btw, keep up the good work. I liked your latest video with the monitors and also this one, so I subscribed! :)

I might be stating the obvious but try deleting your mouse driver. My mouse had an extremely annoying "stutter" but deleting the latest mouse driver then reconnecting the mouse completely solved the problem for me. It's a bit of a long shot and might be some kinda clash specifically between the mouse and OW2, but since you specifically mention Ana, I think it might be an overlooked bug. To me it sounds far more like an OW bug than Logitech bug. I don't play Overwatch or FPS games in general but I play a ton of LoL and I actually find it very fun communicating with Riot's support team. I don't know about your experiences with OW's support team, but for Riot when I report bugs, they're always very friendly and civil. Even though they don't always fix the problem, they are just like call center people who just listen to you and their primary job is to apologise for your unfortunate incident to make you feel better, report it to the tech team, and from there it's out of their hands. Point is, it's highly unlikely to be an unpleasant experience. I reported a rather game-breaking bug a couple months ago, and they confessed to me that said bug has been an ongoing problem but it was very difficult to solve. Then they just randomly figured it out a couple weeks ago. Problem solved. If you have any video editing experience I'd suggest recording a gameplay video of the crazy zooming bug, while recording the audio from your mouse on your phone, or an easier way is to find a recording software that records mic audio, just put the mic next to your mouse. The priority is to *_ensure that it's blatantly obvious_* that you're only clicking _*ONCE *_and the zoomy thing goes apeshit. (Support teams get plenty of rubbish nonsense bug reports) I think I can safely guarantee that they'll fix your issue pronto because it's impossible for none of their team to not have impulse-bought the DEX, and impossible for none of them or their peers to be Ana players. They'll want to solve the issue even more than you do. Support teams tend to be far more helpful when we make it easier for them to clearly understand the issues we're facing.

@@JillpapI I did remove all the drivers and software, I haven't had time to play yet tho. I did one game last night without problems. But would need more testing. I don't think it's an OW2 bug, I ONLY play Ana and I only had this after I switched mouse. I did however also update to the 24H2 for Windows. So this could also be a cause. I did look at the OW forums and there is no mention of anyone with a similar issue.
@JillpapI3 ай бұрын
@@Ejziponken1 Yeah the mouse is too new for much of a database to refer to. I think it's extremely unlikely that Logitech's quality control team did not test the mouse with a game as huge as OW. You might have a "lemon" so I hope you're still within return-refund date. But you can conduct a short experiment with other characters to confirm if it's an Ana problem, OW2 problem or Logitech problem. You can just copy paste the same video and feedback report to Logitech as well. The more obvious you make it the easier and faster it'll be for your issue to be solved.
