We don’t have poultry auctions here sadly. Hatching eggs is where the $ is going to be for me. Beautiful birds. I’ve enjoyed all the chicken chats with you. It’s rare that I find people that share the same enthusiasm about chickens that I have!

Do you have a projected date on when your three breeds of Orpington's will be ready for purchase? I will be starting my flock this year and would love to add all three varieties of yours.

We added a bunch of new breeds last year and they should all be laying very soon. We are expecting a lot of chicks to be hatching very soon here.

Oh wow they are so beautiful! How do you find out if there is an animal auction in my area?

Ask the locals. There is a small animal auction every single month of the year and it's a 5 minute drive from my house. I lived here for two years before I knew that. When I think about the thousands of dollars that I could have spent in that two years I just...wait! Maybe I wish I still didn't know about it lol.
