It has to be said : Zee could have won at 22:22 by playing at the end bottom right line. Even if he had to wait a then after Sam was blocked, he still could have won with that move all the way till the very end.

No. It would have been up to Tom to choose to block Sam and let Zee win or just let Sam win. It's the same situation of a cuple of minutes before, when Tom took back his move and decided to block Zee. (edited -> is to his)

Alberto Contu if he plays in the gap between his two and one he has a diagonal and the row. Tom blocks Sam, Sam blocks one but can’t block both. Zee has a check mate.

newsaidin I mean I agree and see what you mean, but that’s the broken nature of king making. If he does that did Sam truly win? Zee has a winning setup, Sam did not. But turn order could allow someone to chose a new winner vs outplaying. I think Zee lost because he didn’t see and make the move, but could Sam really call himself the winner if Tom gift wraps it had he made that move?

Sorry Sam, first game you had won on the second last turn when you said it didnt matter, if you had placed it just 2 spaces closer to yourself! Then next turn you removed your first block on Zee giving him the game. He must be paying you, up it.
