I swear, *Actress Ann Guilbert stole every scene in which she appeared!* During her career, she appeared as Laura Petrie's silly yet loveable sidekick Millie Helper, Grandma Yetta Rosenberg, Fran Fine's doddering grandmother, etc.; these characters were all flawlessly accomplished and hilariously so! She even made something as seemingly uncomplicated as a set entrance so comical as she bounced into a room!

MTM looked very cute in this episode. Think this was the 1st one with the short natural style. Her earlier look was to make her look older and sophisticated since DvD was about 40 here and she was 27...about 21 when the show started. Joe Bonaduce wrote this. That's Danny Bonaduce's (Danny Partridge) troubled father.

The carpet in the Petrie's home is the same as in the writers' room and Alan Brady's office. It's really ratty and there are cigaret butts on the floor. I guess they didn't think about people being able to stop the film.

It seems that there was an edit at the 1:12 mark. This episode is a lot shorter than the others. If you omit the 15 seconds of the Film Rise introductions and closing, it's less than 25 minutes. Programs of that era were always 25 to 26 minutes. No complaints here, just an observation.
