In case anyone wanted to know why priests actually "sing" like that: it's called liturgical chanting and it was developed back when mics were obvs not a thing because chanting projects a lot farther than talking. So it's not actually not intended to be a song, they're just carrying the note to project. But yeah it's still funny af.

Chris Delia is definitely the best known comic to use the priest singing premise but I don’t think that means this guy stole the joke he definitely made it his own if he was inspired by Chris. My main concern is the physicality, while some of it kind of fit, that seemed more like an attempt to copy the way Chris performs more than anything else. It just felt forced in my opinion, and it honestly didn’t add much to the comedy unlike when Chris does it.
