When I was an adult with kids of my own, the first time I heard my Dad (StepDad) introduce me to a friend of his as "his daughter" my heart melted. He's said it about me for over twenty years but this one time I heard and understood the live he had for my brother and I. Even after divorce from my Mother, Dad was still who I called until I was 36; when he passed, he was my best friend. I was in all levels a Daddy's girl.

@@vassilpapadak he was an amazing man. So smart, so loving. My Mother broke his heart when I was 17 they divorced, he always called himself Dad #2 and I reminded him several times a Dad earns his title, we didn't need to be blood, he was Dad to me. I miss him so much, I wish everyday he was still here. I have no connection with my Mother, but Dad I could tell him anything and if I was wrong he would put me in my place. A Dad is someone who teaches you, stays up when you're ill, give punishments when I deserved it, but always said he loved me. When I graduated college he was the one telling me he knew I was intelligent, and to never stop learning. I now know five languages, studying my sixth. When I joined the Army and my brother was a Marine he had a flag pole built in his yard and flew both branches of the military we were in. After my first deployment my Dad said he was so proud of me and that moment I believed him. Such a jewel lost. I love my Daddy, and will till it's my time to see him again.

Better than someone who always has that "well they aren't MY kids" attitude. Growing up I had a stepdad I absolutely hated, and I stepmother I absolutely adored. The boat joke tho!! Bruhhhhh ☠☠
@mirmalchik4 жыл бұрын
yeah people kind of overuse the term "gaslighting" as if it's just a synonym for lying. the distinction is that gaslighting is for the purpose of convincing the gaslit party that they are mentally ill. it's pretty clear if you watch the movie from which the term is derived. In Gaslight with Ingrid Bergman, the man who murdered her aunt marries Bergman and gradually convinces her to question her sanity by accusing her of losing and forgetting and stealing and moving things that he "loses" for her. She can't imagine that he would be manipulating her like this and comes to assume that she's blacking out and doing strange things without reason. But he gets his in the end, and even though her revenge is as passive as you'd expect in an American movie from the era of black and white film, Bergman's closing monologue is goddamn genius. Watch it, it's worth it. And stop pretending gaslighting = lying, please.

I once fell asleep while at a doctor's appointment with my mom. It was the first time seeing this new doctor, and I had forgotten I had that appointment, and probably sat up all night playing World of Warcraft. So I sit there in his office, half dead at like 9 in the morning probably starting to snore, and my mom elbowing me in my sleep. x'D This was back in my early teenage years.

@@B_Bodziak It's just interesting to me, when you say "should of" it shows that you clearly have no idea what the words you're saying mean. Because otherwise you would know that you're trying to say "should've", a contraction of "should have". When you say "should of" it shows that you are just writing it the way you hear it, which is hilariously stupid.

Update: i searched youtube and found about 10 vids from the last 6 years... all of them with the same material as above. 😭 i know it's pretty common for comedians to repeat bits that were funny and worked... but after watching 10 more it was so sad that i didn't see any different material. i guess maybe he needs a better agent AND a writer 😏 .....but the video above is still a scream and definitely his best.
