A very good and short video with initial explanations followed by simple and practical sentences, ie. just my cup of tea (how do you say that in French?) Merci beaucoup! Just one question, to see if I understood the first line correctly. Is: Je peux faire ça dans cinq minutes = It will take me 5 minutes to do it.
@ClearlyFrench5 ай бұрын
@@peterrasmussen9336 no, "dans cinq minutes" is 5 minutes from now. "En cinq minutes" is how long it will take me to do it. Also, we say "c'est mon truc", or "c'est ma tasse de thé".

Hi Clare, These posts are great but friend is learning French & struggles with hearing. The problem is you provide useful information verbally (e.g. it’s not written down). For example "I’ll do that in 5 mins" vs "I can do that in 5 mins".

@@Moshie71 yes, sorry, i'll try to write everything down next time.

@@ClearlyFrench Thank you 🙏 however the posts are great - it’s only where something significant (key) is mentioned but not written. Thanks again for the reply Bon courage👍
