Don't forget that Sho's Seiyuu was in Kamen RIder Den'o! and 5A got nerfed twice because Sho was slapping people going full unga bunga so they forgot how to block. "Hey this persona-less character has a really good tool to start combos stings! How about we nerf it to hell so it becomes useless?"

It's his awakening command grab super, course it does a ton of damage, In addition it was done on Elizabeth, who is tied for the lowest health in the game at 8000

Part of what I hated about P4AU when it first came out was the immense amount of players who would only play Yu, Sho, or Minazuki. Same issue as Smash w/ Fire Emblem where you're just bound to go against sword characters to the point that Online becomes predictable and therefore exhausting - largely in part because no one really understood how to effectively play those characters. Glad to see a lot more guide content with this new release but please: Play someone you genuinely like instead.

I can really only recommend checking the Dustloop wiki for combos or looking up SHO combos on KZbin(especially if you're gonna play 2.0). I don't have any specific resources unfortunately...

I prefer Minazuki just cuz I love the Persona mechanics that make this game feel special, and his combos and explosive damage fill me with dopamine. But those Sho mixups are affronts to the world.

Also sho is the only character with no instant kill. Meaning he is missing a universal option. At least it’s not an important one. (Unless instant kills were actually useful in this game unlike guilty gear where you would only hit them when fighting bots)

A few IKs like Junpei's and Adachi's are decent punishes, if your opponent does something stupid like cancelling Yu's DP into Ziodyne and you read it. But Minazuki's is pretty trash even in that regard, so overall, not missing much on that front.
