Again, another very informative video, GC! Thank you for doing this, there seems to not be much information on the internet about the difference between the two. This will help me make sure I have quality Aztecas instead of getting ripped off. LOL!

Yeah you gotta be careful out there people wanna sale anything for a lot of money just because it’s short legged when in reality the bird is full of color defects among other things, it still a developing breed plus some of the colors aren’t as well established as the OEGB are and they also have a “fantasy” category for cross varieties so gotta look out for those birds as well cause some will come out cool looking and some won’t and they’ll try to charge you 300$+ on those as well just because they’re short legged.

I’m not sure about a book yet. And not yet they’re not recognized but I believe they are working on it.

OEGB and AZTECA bantam Are their size of the body and length of their legs are the results of Inbreeding? or that's their original.

I think the OEGB are bantams that originated from England, however I think they were a bit different than the ones you see in America today. there’s a group on Facebook where you can see birds and breeders from the UK that still breed the original standard OEGB but in my personal opinion I think they look a lot like Cochins. As for the Aztecas they’re a breed that started coming around in 2011 I’m not really sure what they bred to get them so small my guess is that they used a Puerto Rican kikiriki for body and leg size and OEGB to help out with the standard colors, which is why I see a lot of Azteca breeders breeding OEGB to Azteca to help out with any color issues they may have. Just my humble opinion.
